Alicent is supposed to look amazing, she kept her slender figure and youthful face while Rhaenyra resented her for it as she never recovered and stayed fat from the pregnancies. Rhaenyra also gets easily mad, the writers really made her more likable in the show.

The characterization and the whole jumping in time have been getting on my nerves, Daemon, Criston, Rhaenys and Corlys all look the same, they could at least tried to make them appear younger in the first episodes. Now Aegon looks like he comes from Heartstopper meanwhile Aemond comes from Riverdale

The filming for season 2 doesn’t even start until February/march of 2023 apparently. The season will not be ready for August lol. Maybe if it was a small, low-budget show but a show of this magnitude will not be ready in a couple of months. 
 

If they do have it by 2023 it will be late in the year like November-December but I’d Brace myself for a spring 2024 release at the earliest, unfortunately.

Time jumps and rush endings kinda ruined this season, tbh  They should've changed the adult cast in episode 9 or 10 right before the season finale. That's in the best case.
