I’m not really feeling the new actresses. Alicent seems like she’s always whispering when she talks and Rhaenyra has a very monotone expression. Hopefully they’ll grow on me.

 

Ser Criston though. He’s aging backwards. Can’t blame him to switch sides after the princess me too’d him. 
 

I’m not sure what are they going to feature in episode 9 and 10. Is the dance already happening this season with all this time jumps?

I know some people hate uber popular actors and actresses joining shows, but I'd die if the Elizabeth Olsen and Henry Cavill rumors were true.

 

Elizabeth needs to prove herself outside of marvel and I feel like a role in this would suit her well.

 

And Henry is just pure eye candy who actually has decent acting so I wouldn't mind him as well.

Alicent is such an interesting character on the show, the journey from the premiere to her now. Makes me wanna root for the queen tbh

 

Rhaenyra is written as very likable, but she's mostly the same since her early days. Character wise.

They may do it one day, but Aegon's conquest doesn't really have high stakes. He and his sisters basically mow down anyone in their way, except in one particular instance. It would be hard to do a full season out of it.

 

It would do better as a mini-series if they ever decide to do it, but I think GRRM probably wants Aegon to remain this almost deity-like figure shrouded in mystery.

Honestly? Who cares if she's American. Brits play Americans and Americans play Brits. I think Elizabeth would be a great actress that would fit in quite well with HoTD.
