in episode 6 or 7, if i remember well, Alicent's brother said he's 16. In the series, Jace is around 20 yo.

 

I just googled and the rumored actor is 22. I thought he was younger tbh

Luigi's haunted house arc had a good payoff, but was WAY too long with Daemon. 
 

Overall the season was solid. Slow, but I think the strikes really hit them. I expect excellence in S3 to make up for it. The GoT connection with Dany made me annoyed though because it basically invalidates S8 of GoT which might not be a bad thing in hindsight

Not Grace Randolph wanting them to dedicate two episodes to the "battle" of King's Landing, when there wasn't really even a battle to begin with.

Team Black swooped in and pretty much took over the city quickly and without much fighting (let alone dragon fighting).

i think everyone's being too dramatic about the series 

 

its quite evident they cut episodes 9 and 10 and saved them for S3. The finale seemed like a prelude to an actual finale with shock value. I didn't mind the season's pacing apart from some scenes that didn't add anything at all.

 

I liked the episode. The scene of Daemon and Rhaenyra was definitely THE BEST ONE. I also really liked Rhaenyra and Alicent's scene. Finally Rhaenyra put that horrible mother in her place. Sorry Alicent, it's too late, you said it yourself. But I like how you can sense some kind of… very distant, old firendship / connection.

 

I screamed at Jace pronouncing the word "pouting" lmao. Yes you're a pretty pouty baby.

 

You know what I didn't like about this season is the marketing. "CHOOSE A SIDE" as in we're going to get on hands but when one of them is ready to attack… season's over. Are you kidding? lmao. Rook's Rest was more out of desperation for the Black Council so I don't count it as a "war moment". A dragon battle yes.

Elio publishes books with George, like his name is on several asoiaf book covers. I don't know exactly what he does but I'd assume he knows what he's talking about

Rhaenyra and Alicent are pretty ruthless and vicious

 

I get that they wanted Emma and Olivia to have scenes together since they're both the driving force of the show, but I wish that after the first scene together in the Sept, it made Rhaenyra become angered and disgusted at Alicent since she was so insistent on Aegon being king and her making no mistakes.

 

Then they could have kept the fan service of Alicent going to Dragonstone, but this time met with an angry Rhaenyra, who maybe captures her, and interrogates her and tells her NO NO NO to everything, but then eventually lets her go. Which then turns Alicent evil since she didn't get her way and was almost killed/taken hostage. 

 

I get those scenes don't happen in the book, but I do think they could have been executed in ways to get both the characters to BECOME their book-selves.

The way Harry and Tom posted all those pictures together making us think we were getting a full fledged arc with them, only for Cregan to have 5 total minutes of screentime
