That was very very beautifuly done. Super tragic but the dialogues between Meleys and Rhaenys

Meleys looking at her proudly before making that last unfortunate turn

I'm glad Alicent is shedding the religious armor, nobody in that world is so prim and proper. Seeing her interact with Larys was great, all the implications, I'm surprised he didn't ask for the goods. 
 

And yet on the opposite coin, they're still showing Rhenyria as a righteous goody. C'mon show that quick temper. 
 

Aemond is just such a delicious character. 
 

Seeing Damond go mad is great but hope that not all they do. Already in love with Alys.

I haven't read the books but so far Rhaenyra is such a disappointment, the way I thought that she was going to snap after her son was killed but she remains a passive snooze fest. 
 

GoT had more thrilling battles.. these ones are anticlimactic.

Book Rhaenyra is fat, grumpy and has a temper. I assume this part of her personality will start to shine in season 3 where things get much, much worse.

They did it with S1, stretching the footnotes.. and beautifully at that

Rhaenys went down as a dragonrider. A true Targaryen up until the end. A fitting end for the Queen that never was!
