But hbo shows they liked better took up so much space that this was a distant fourth priority for just the channel in this genre.

This could be a blessing in disguise

because sometimes the writers/showrunners are overthinking while on set and editing things that didn't need to be edited 🥸  it happened many times that people behind the camera regretted in retrospect.

 

I'm curious to see what a a raw script looks without any involvement from writers on set. This season should be interesting.

I refused to read the rest of Fire & Blood or any spoilers so I get the impact when watching the show, but what I've read from many people on reddit is that S2 and S3 cover a lot of events in a short time frame so it's like they "divided one season in two" (also making it 8 episodes instead of 10).
