Arrax thinking his tiny breath of fire was going to do anything. Worms on the brain :deadbanana2:

ddd but it's great storytelling tbh. Much more believable that a young dragon is stupid and immature (and he'd never been in a real fight or war to know a real danger).

It's like a younger sibling trying to fight and older sibling and getting knocked out :rip:

Yea Aemond is going to claim that he fought and killed Luke. The writer said in inside the episode that it will be interesting to see when he takes the news to Kings Landing and whether he’ll own it.

The memes that Vhagar things Aemond is Visenya and they are still conquering Dorne :bibliahh: literally alright let’s get you to bed grandma

Alicent should and sleep with Criston, she’s single now so why not. I hope they kind of make them a couple later on.

It is possible but I'm doubtful.

Alicent is similar & different to Cersei but where they are differ is that Cersei knew she was a sinner and didn't care. Cersei had sex with whoever she wanted, drank as much as she wanted, and committed murder when she felt like it with no remorse. Alicent represses herself by trying to be a rule follower and resents Rhaenerya because she has bastard children, consistently lies, and flaunts her sins with no consequences embarrassing her family. In contrast Alicent follows the rules and remains a prisoner and still suffers lots of consequences including the loss of her son's eye and her dad getting kicked out of being the hand.

She may eventually give into her wants but for now, I feel like she will continue to lead Criston on and use him to do her bidding without sleeping with him.

Wow this episode made me angry. Poor Luke. But it was such a bad idea to send him out. He was just too young.

when GRRM comes out and says that's what really happened in the storm then what?

The finale was amazing but wish they had thrown in a line at the end in the vein of an eye for an eye, a son for a son. Or just say fire and blood. Anything tbh.

Same thing for last episode, Rhaenys sayin: that's your bell to Alicent before storming off would've been a gag. But the showrunners rely too much on the actors faces which they did a lot on GOT too

Also, the scene with Vermithor was a bore, we didnt need that at all and they couldve used that budget to show us Sunfyre[/spoilers]

The way you're trying hard to be edgy and different :deadbanana2:

I don't think it this comment was being edgy or different.

I do think there is a possibility that Alicent could start an affair with Criston. Though I'm doubtful just because of her strong moral compass and his sexual desire without acting on it allows her to have better leverage over him. He is repressed and it is causing him to have outburst in other ways. :eli:

the Targaryen theme is like the best piece of music ever crafted :jonny:

At first, I was surprised that the show wanted to make it look like an accident but it makes sense and it shows that Aemond may be impulsive but he's smart and aware that he would basically start the war by killing Luke and also, as Viserys said to Rhaenyra in the early episodes, the dragons can't fully be controlled. The moment Arrax attacked Vhagar, it was over for her, Vhae said "Not on my watch" and entered berserker mode.

How could they end the season like this?! The episode was great but felt way more like a penultimate episode than it did a season finale.

The way my heart broke when Rhaenyra lost her most recent baby,  became queen,  had Daemon try to choke her, and then Aemond killing Luke,  and the season ending on her reaction. I wish we had at least one more episode after this.

And I need both Criston and Aemond to both die painful deaths at some point in season 2. Both equally detestable.

Aemond at the end of the day was doing his own and his mother's bidding and getting revenge for losing an eye.

At least Robert Baratheon had enough sense in season 1 of Game of Thrones to settle the dog biting incident by having some accountability to the wronged party by killing the dog.

King Viserys let them leave that incident with Team Black having no consequences (as usual) which then leaves team Green with immense resentment as Aemond was never going to get his eye back and no justice was given to them for it. So, you just hold onto years of anger that eventually boils to the surface.

He’s her most loyal and trustful advisor, her sworn protector, 20+ years of “working” together as Knight and Queen, they know what each other has been through… now with Alicent not following her dad as much, plus no longer having to care for Viserys, it makes sense she finds comfort in Criston.

Where are you getting your gifs btw?

As if Alicent didn't assault the heir to the iron throne, Aegon/Aemond called the heirs children bastards (publicly), and Aemond stealing a dragon from the Velaryons :deadbanana2:

Y'all try so hard to ignore all the **** the Greens do that would literally have them killed if they were anyone but.

They literally stole a dragon the same day as the funeral for the previous rider. Like, y'all are something else acting like they did nothing wrong :deadbanana:

Omg my anxiety went through the roof when Luke arrived to the Baratheon castle and then the dragon chase ?

Also, idk if it was intentional but the way Rhaenyra took matters into her own hands by delivering the baby herself and choosing herself over it unlike her mother who didn’t get a choice

Book purists & Daemerya stans have been going berserk these past few days due to some “changes” & to be quiet frank I’ve actually really loved the changes the writers have done thus, makes the characters more nuanced instead of one dimensional :clap3:

hate the blacks but I stan Daemerya :deadbanana2:now it left a bad taste in my mouth after the choking scene

Daemon and Rhaenyra always had a toxic relationship. He very well wanted Viserys to think he took her virtue when she was a teenager :rip: Like, I'm so confused why that choking scene shocked people. He's not a saint and has never been portrayed as such. He literally sliced a guy's head off like 2 episodes ago
