This series writing is so bland and trite. It's the money of GOT with the writing of an average bbc period drama about the war of roses. Nothing near to the original with its such incredible sublte writing about power dynamics and humanity. That's was for some season high peak television, this is just standard television if not for the high production value.

I was hoping they introduce Daeron with Otto being back in Oldtown.

even The Tudors got 3 casting emmy nominations in a row.

 

not everyone has that i'm afraid.

 

tho i expect season 2 of this will at least go up from its acting haul last time.

I keep replaying the dragon battle sequence. It's just so stunningly done. I LOVE giving the dragons birds of prey characteristics with their fighting techniques and flying
