Y'all need to put the same energy into shitting on The Man Oh this The Man doesn’t get enough hate because we have a bunch of performative feminists here. Now there is something slightly subversive about it and I love her Stevie Nicks vocals, but that’s about it. The song is flat and annoying as hell. That weird little synth line in the post chorus sounds nightmarish.
Domination Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 It’s cute! The song feels pretty self-aware and clearly does not take itself to seriously. Now if it was sung by Katy Perry, that’d be a different story.

taylordswift13 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 (edited) ME! is universally hated by swifties but I think it deserves more lashings, I will never understand what she was thinking Edited April 21, 2022 by taylordswift13

@michael Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 It’s like meth in that it’s nice while you listen, but then you feel absolutely horrible afterwards.
Shaner69 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 It's the worst song she ever released. It sounded awful then and worse now. However the rest of the album is way better.
ontherocks Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I wanted to say yes, but then I realised you meant the song
West Coast Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I've been an intellectual ME! enjoyer since day 1
drivers license Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 it's a very cute song from one of her best albums
governmenthooker96 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I like it as much as I liked it back in 2019. However, the solo version>>>> I also prefer ME! over Shake It Off

DuffStan Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 This song actually turned me into a harder Swiftie It's fuuun, just like spelling!
