626k tickets sold in Argentina

The way they always Coldplay visiting each Latin country always becomes an event

Wondering how they will top this in a future… also this tour feels like if it was a goodbye tour, they will probably comeback in 3-4 years again but their Touring impact is insane

I dont get how their album flopped and didnt do BIG numbers, but the tour is a smash everywhere lol

Music of the Spheres sold 2.4 million units. It's nothing compared to the previous albums of course, but I wouldn't call it a flop considering were months away from celebrating Coldplay's 25th year of career. The tour smashed because they are good performers, Chris is extremely charismatic and the band have a vast collection of hits. Next year 8 out of their 9 albums will have at least one song with 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Touring LEGENDS. Just because MOTS wasn’t a smash has very little impact. They have built a massive following with years of smash hits and successful albums. They’ll continue selling out stadiums even after they stop releasing new music.

Amazing but I'm still mad they didn't come back to Mexico City.

Heard they are coming back early next year because they have dates in Brazil and of course they need the budget lmao. :santa:

What do you mean? The tour is an absolute smash everywhere but the US.

They definitely don’t need the budget tho as they already have 11 shows just in Brazil to do. That’s ~$50,000,000 more to add to the gross.

they better announce another US leg

The band announced a small West coast tour a few days ago and tickets will go on sale today. I bet they're adding an extra show in each one of these cities.

They applied for (and received) a license agreement for two Rose Bowl shows.

Second show is on October 1, 2023, and should be announced after the first one goes on sale.

I really wanted them to break the record for most dates at the Rose Bowl stadium but these two are not even sold out yet :gaycat6:

Not gonna happen, they’re not as big they’re outside USA. I’m shocked they’re not doing San Francisco Bay, Las Vegas, Phoenix

These shows are probably just to quit the band's debt with Los Angeles, Guy implied they intend to go back later (probably after the Asian leg in 2024).

They did San Francisco (Santa Clara) and Phoenix (Glendale) as part of the 2022 US leg.

@gustavothehuman I got a ticket for the Rose Bowl, I tried to get floor but it didn't let me. But I am fine with it. I feel this show is more enjoyed in seats though.

Rose Bowl sold out already like in an hour. :dies: I hope they add a third.

Third would be a tie with BTS and One Direction!
