There's literally no way to know for sure, but the beauty about side projects like this is the benefit they give the artist if they succeed is far more profound than the disadvantage they give if they flop, so she'll be fine either way I fear.

Encanto is a musical film, that codependent on the soundtrack as much as the script.

 

While Gaga isn’t starting in the movie nor is it a musical.
