CandleGuy Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I hope she explores the Indie Electronica sound more like on Closure. I could also see her going in the retro synth/pop-rock direction like As It Was.
Achilles. Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Indie-pop-rock or soft rock or a full return to singer-songwritery country. Anything but pop rock, honestly; never cared much for it.
Rev8 Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Yea maybe Pop-Rock but I am interested in what she is gonna do really..dont see her as Disco..and the later is just kind of predictable and boring (so I guess it might be it tbh nn) but I can see her doing a more fresh sound imagine: Paris Hilton's Paris/Fergie's Double Duchess type of album

I would like this sound from her, or some dream pop like Passion Pit or Miike Snow.
What_A_Mess Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 (edited) She’s made pop before but she’s never had a whole pop album you could dance to so disco pop, disco rock, dreampop is my wish list. Pop Rock like the way Avril/MGK does it is super corny so indierock a la Bombay Bicycle Club/Glass Animals is my second option. Edited April 17, 2022 by What_A_Mess
Green Tea Is Green Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Neither, both tired genres Hoping she'll explore something unexpected like with folkmore
GraceRandolph Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Disco-pop tbh. Something like Golden Hour, but more pop would be a serve.
KOMH Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Relegating to disco-pop would be tragic after the excellence of Folkmore. Arena rock would be a more natural progression, something in the vein of Red perhaps. I wouldn't mind dream-pop or alternative either.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 She is most likely going for an alternative singer-songwriter rock sound for her next album. I can see her going back to Guitar driven and country songs
PieceByPiece_KC Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Excited for whatever is to come. Taylor knows what I need - I trust her with whatever she is cooking up!
Bloodflowers. Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Why not both disco and rock mixed together? Like Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus
kandicha Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Neither, honestly. I wish she would go back to country.
AM98GJ Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I basically want Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend for TS10
diamondsky Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Alt/indie/rock influences for sure. But way moodier than G4U type pop rock. Imagine more of of State of Grace, The Archer, Mirrorball, with a mix of Sky Ferriera/St Vincent/Banks/Lorde and some Springsteen or The Killers thrown in. Her songwriting excels in thise sounds and she‘s already working in close proximity with indie bands like Bleachers (Antonoff) and the National (Dessner). I also need a(nother) timeless, dreamy acoustic love song from her. i just know she has a Yellow by Coldplay type song waiting for us
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Alt/indie rock, something like State of Grace but with more pronounced guitars and percussions. Pop-rock like early Paramore or similar songs (like G4U) wouldn't be bad but not sure if it fits her voice. Disco-pop got overdone by other artists in 2020 and the trend already faded.
