Dingdong123 Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 The genre-bending Taylor Swift has hopped from country to pop to alternative through her career with consistent blockbuster results all throughout, What genre should Taylor do next for TS10? Discuss.
JorgeM Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I would prefer pop-rock or dark pop/ indie. I don’y feel disco match with Taylor, although she always surprise us
Cruel Summer Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I would prefer she leans toward rock and doesn’t do much as much pop, dance, etc. at all. Let pop Taylor rest in peace and focus on quality and legacy. Rock is fine for a cute streaming hit or two anyway.
supertiffany Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 she doesnt have the vocal range to do pop-rock the good pop-rock were always been vocalist like pink, kelly clarkson, demi the incapable singers who did pop-rock were cringe: ashley tisdale and to some extent hilary duff but her songs were cute for teens tho
wastedpotential Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I still want Taylor to make a Springsteen-esque 70s/80s soft pop-rock album, so that
SimpleKindofLife Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Soft rock would be the best route for her I think. Like a mix of The Bee Gees/Chicago!
DiamondHoe Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Pop rock or more indie pop please. No disco. She couldn’t pull it off. She just couldn’t. we need an album of State of Grace’s and Mr Perfectly Fines
allforyou Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I could definitely see her doing pop rock, I don't think she'll ever do another full pop album tbh
americanlife Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Hoping for pop rock or a full return to country.
Billionaire Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 An indie rock album would be perfect as a natural progression from folkmore Spoiler Dream pop would be cute too
Badgalbriel Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 An Indie Rock album. Pop Rock is nor really my thing, tbh. I find it to be super corny.

JoJo Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 (edited) A Disco-pop album would make Taylor a trend hopper. Pop-rock is also trendy right now, but at least it’s a genre of music that Taylor has released in the past (Story of Us, Better Than Revenge, etc.), so a pop-rock album wouldn’t be out of place in her discography. personally, I’d prefer an indie rock album. Rei Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Rock would be so predictable and boring. I want something electro, like her best song Ready For It from Taylor’s best album REPUTATION. K bye for now, Sunshine. <3

State of Grace. Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 She should do indie/soft rock not Olivia'd / Gayle'd / Avril'd pop-rock
Ribs Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Disco Pop is the dream though. Album featuring with Beach House and Alice Wolf, whew! A CONCEPT

dooart Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Disco-Pop is trend that came and went with the pandemic, imo. Still, it would be great to have a pop-rock disco song on the album. If it's pop, the best option would be pop-Rock mixed with Indie-Rock. Something like folkmore but more upbeat and like Billie's HTE (song) would be a dream
Da Vinci Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 classic sounding soft rock could make her massive in europe for once whiny break up avril'd/kelly'd pop rock is a NO especially for a 30+ year old
