Marla Singer Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 That was apparently the episode where Bob had the heart attack. It was while they were filming the scenes in Jimmy/Kim's apartment with Lalo and Howard's body. It was a great episode though. This season has been so dark and brutal.
McNulty Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 The new episode was ******* amazing. One of their best ever Not only ****** got killed and his reputation got ruined forever but also shared his grave with his killer. brutal Mike, Gus and Lalo were acting their asses off during the episode

At least he had it with other people present to help him rush to the hospital fast

Nah, that's tonight's episode, he said this in an interview on the 12th: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/2022-emmys-better-call-saul-star-bob-odenkirk-heart-attack-1235179022/ Which is , what could possible happen tonight...
McNulty Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 Beautiful episode! Every character chose to cope with what happened in a different way, Gus, for a few minutes, was living a normal life at the Winery but went back and focused on his revenge and his obsession to build his empire. Same for Mike who will focus on revenging Nacho's death (the shot of Mike behind the fences portraying him living in his own prison was amazing). As for Kim and Saul, Kim decided to face what they did and leave this toxic relationship unlike Jimmy who wanted to overlook it and not reflect on what they had been doing. Now we are finished with all the pre Breaking Bad events, I'm excited for what happens next
Marla Singer Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Jimmy and Kim are one of the best on screen fictional couples ever and I've never felt so sad from a break up scene, even though it's true that they are both poison for everyone else around them. Kim needed to get out of the relationship to stop herself becoming her own version of Saul Goodman, and quitting the law was a fitting way for her to "punish" herself for what she's done and process her own guilt, but Jimmy needed her to stay to stop him from becoming Saul. Really tragic, and incredibly acted by them both. I've always wanted a full B&W Gene episode and it didn't disappoint. The way they connected every Gene scene from previous seasons was nice. And it was a classic Slippin' Jimmy con, except for the first time in the series we don't actually know for sure whether he's going to get away with it or not. I love how we just have no idea how the final 3 episodes are going to go, and the teasers don't give anything away. We do know Walter and Jessie will appear, but we don't know how, or which timeline they appear in. It's been said that they won't be just showing up as a nice cameo appearance but will actually contribute to the story in some way. And I'm sure we'll see Kim again too, but just have no idea how. I don't know if we'll see Gus or Mike again, it kind of feels like their stories have been told now.
Marla Singer Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Give Bob and Rhea their Emmys. If that scene on the bus was the final ever Kim scene (chronologically), wow what a way to bow out. I'm going to miss this show. It kind of feels like the show is already over, and we're just seeing a bleak and depressing epilogue now, but I think these episodes have been stunning.

Julia has 2 nominations, she can have the other award (Lead Actress for Inventing Anna). The category that they're both in is packed though, so I could see neither of them winning.
Sunderland 4ever Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 (edited) I tipically just come here for the YECDs, but I'll make an exception this time to give my two cents on this show. It's the best show I've ever seen. At this point, I honestly praise it even more than Breaking Bad. It's taught me to become a highly meticulous viewer, which I honestly enjoy a lot. I like that the TV series challenges me to piece things together in every scene. That being said, finding out it has got almost no comments discussing this show here is a SICK JOKE! This cast's performance has been outstanding and I hope the main actors get some awards for their performances, let alone Vince G. and Peter G. I'm both excited and sad that this ride is about to come to an end (been following BCS since the beginning of the pandemic), and I believe it seriously marks a benchmark both as a spin-off and as a TV series. Last episode I think is called Saul Gone. I think it's going to be either death or jail for our at-this-point-not-so beloved-anymore Jimmy/Saul/Gene. Edited August 10, 2022 by Sunderland 4ever
McNulty Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 (edited) Kim Wexler is one of the best written female characters I have ever seen on TV and Rhea Seehorn deserves every possible award she can get. That bus scene was heartbreaking Edited August 11, 2022 by McNulty
BuzzCharts Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 This final season has really delivered. Every episode has been incredible and I can't wait to see how they wrap it all up next week.
Komet Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Can't believe it's finally ending. This last season has been spectacular, to think it started with that Nacho() storyline, it feels so long ago. Kim Glad she's alive, but at what price? Prop my fave character out of the the whole BB/BCS universe
ConceptD Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I didn’t know there was a thread for this here. The last episode was amazing and I’m so excited for Monday. I think this show has definitely overtaken BB at this point.
flower moon Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I stopped watching this at like s2 somewhere but I keep seeing people talking about it recently Maybe Ill restart again
Marla Singer Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Better Call Saul sweeps at the HCA TV awards.
Eóghan Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I'm waiting for season 6 to end to binge it; I did the same with season 5 in 2020. I remember it was torture. This time was hell, I don't know how resisted but tomorrow is the end of agony; I'll finally be able to start my binge. I've heard so many good things about this final season
McNulty Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 What a beautiful ending! I'm really gonna miss the show. It's was one of my favorite show I have ever watched
