Am I the only one who absolutely LOVES Harry Potter but has never watched any of these films / has zero interest in doing so?

as you should, the Fantastic Beasts franchise is horrible on its own and redundant to the HP universe

who thought a $200milliom budget was a good idea after the last one flopped? if there are more then they need to get rid of david yates too

They had actually set a $100 million budget for this one but the money they wound up spending ballooned because of COVID protocols.

None of this would've happened if WB just did things right... From the beginning, FB should've been a trilogy modeled after Indiana Jones where Newt travel the magical world and encounter creatures and beasts and being pulled into adventures. The ending of FB 1 would've allowed WB to start another series focused on Dumbledore and Grindlewald with the Wizarding World War playing a role in the conflict. Either as another movie trilogy or a HBO show. This would allowed WB and JK to flesh out the Cinematic Wizarding World that is well planned out and would strengthen the IP and the HP legacy.

I loved the first one, never watched the second. Amazing how quickly I lost interest in Harry Potter after it was such a big part of my identity. I wish Rowling nothing but unsuccess and misery.

Man I was about as big of a HP fan as they come and yet somehow JKR and Warner have managed to bungle this so badly that I’m not interested in these movies? If the old HP STANS don’t fall in line for this series who will?

This sounds like way too much. Just give us the original trio back or something.

such a pity, harry potter could've been looked back on as a universally beloved nostalgic IP like lord of the rings, e.t., lion king, etc.

just like it has always been before the transphobe ruined it all

now the overall opinion is so divided with the endless controversies and disappointments

hogwarts legacy is sort of its only hope now?

No Johnny, no box office.

Just like the rest of his movies in the past 5 years :rip:

OT: just cancel it already and give us Hogwarts Founders
