What are your fave’s Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits certified according to the RIAA? This thread is about actual stats so if the stats aren’t on the RIAA website, don’t mention them.

For Legend X:

What A Girl Wants: Platinum

Come On Over Baby: Platinum

Lady Marmalade: Platinum

Moves Like Jagger: Diamond

Bad Blood: 6x Platinum (2020)

Royals - Diamond, nine week #1 that won 2x Grammys, most spotify streams for a 2013 female solo song. Hasn't had a certification update since 2017.

also Team - 3x Platinum, peaked on the US Hot 100 in 2014 and hasn't had a certification update since 2015.

Green Light - Platinum - no certification update since 2017, the same year it was released.

Homemade Dynamite - Platinum and they actually certified the song in 2020.

Some gold certifications too, but most of Lorde's certifications are missing or out of date.

Are they a tragedy because they aren’t updated or because they just are? Maybe they’re just under certified. Janet has the same issue (mostly with albums tho). Unlike her, I think Madonna’s catalog will get a huge update when her partnership with her old label goes into effect. I see big updates for her in the future. Most of her biggest hits are pre-streaming/digital, so no one is expecting Diamond or anything.

Undercertified. Especially her 80s works because RIAA back then would only pay for Gold status. Pre-Nielsen era artists are heavily undercertified

Thought so. So she’s just a victim of labels not doing their job because it doesn’t benefit them at the moment. I think they’ll be recertified now that she’s back with Warner. I wish it was like the UK where songs and albums are certified as soon as they are qualified.

This is actually great considering physical singles only.

The second best-selling single of 99 did that. :bam:

This is impressive! She's hands-down the most successful artist from the digital era (at least singles-wise).
