These reviews are worse than I thought... Not good at all. Let's hope for a $100M domestic debut, but I'm not so sure anymore. Waiting for the next batch of presales data comps to come through.

China.. yikes.

Ant-Man 2 opening weekend- $67M

Ant-Man 3 forecasted total- $70-80M :deadbanana4:

I'm thinking $260M domestic and $360M OS. $620M finish, might not outgross the last one.

Yikes :rip:

Seems like critics are getting tired of 3 hour long toy commercials these days.

Guess this is one I'll wait to be on Disney+ then :ace:

Will be watching in 1hr and 45mins. Let's go girlies. Let's see if critics made some points. :jonny5:If this is indeed bad, this will be the last one I'd see first day except The Marvels ofc :gaycat4:

Ladies, I hate to say it but the critics might be wrong here like they were to Eternals. :gaycat2: It's very Star Wars-y, but I don't think that's bad. Highly enjoyable and I was invested.

The only review I’d trust :clap3:

Kevin actually doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing……

If you look back at their critical darling era, the Russo Brothers kinda carried that!   It’s over for marvel, phase 4 was completed nonsenses even though there were some fun moments.

Seeing this after Work tomorrow!
Also same people been saying Marvel is over since 2020, and yet every single project without fail,  are the first ones to comment😆

idk what other studio is able to release $200M movies multiple times a year, and still have each of them be successful, profitable, and relevant :coffee2:

also my friends that have saw it said the internet is being overdramatic again. The movie did what it was supposed to by making Kang Relevant to the mainstream. and this is a fun family adventure movie.
There are valid criticisms to why the reviews are mixed, but it’s definitely not because “Marvel is Over”. Especially when the most universal positive part of the Movie is Kang. Whose name is in the title of the Next Avengers movie. Lmfao

$20M below domestic predictions is not good no matter how you spin it.

Except it literally surpassed Projections 😆

Given antman is the weakest of the marvel franchise, comparing it to its previous instalments is a HUGE difference.

Let's just say it's better than Ant-Man 2, Thor 4, Black Widow :gaycat4: preferred it over BP2 as well in terms of entertainment, and MOM in terms of action scenes. :gaycat4: CGI-fest, obvi, but I don't think it ever got distracting, it's just over the top. :gaycat4:

hate to say it but... a snoozefest...

Why the f*ck this is panned? The movie was f**king good omg. Stunning visuals. Incredible fight scenes. Some nice humor. Ugh. People have no taste. :WAP:

The daughter was really annoying and her acting was really bad, those are the only complaints I have for this movie. Overall it's a 8/10 movie.

France opening day over 35% down from Ant-Man 2.. Hong Kong debut below the previous film as well. South Korea has lowest opening day of the series, down 45% from Ant-Man 2. China presales flatlined. Opening weekend looking to be about $27-32M there.. :dancehall:

I smell floppage.

I thought it was fine. Definitely not worse than the average Phase 4 movie and much better than the last Ant Man movie for sure
