MDS Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Just watched it, I wasn´t expecting much but it surprised me in a good way, it was a nice conclusion to this trilogy.
Arcadius Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 At 81% with almost 200 reviews, another fresh tomato for Mr. Gunn.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 (edited) They weren’t joking about Best film since Endgame! From a cinematic experience, even better than Wakanda Forever. I’ll write my thoughts and reviews after work tonight, but most definitely another W for Marvel Edited May 4, 2023 by Gorjesspazze9
terrorblade Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 ok just got back from watching it and it was surprisingly moving i don't think i could bear to watch the flashback scenes again i hate high evo so much he deserved a more brutal death. but anyway it was a return to form for marvel (the movies have been so disappointing since NWH). not a single boring moment. hopefully the trend continues with the marvels (but i have massive doubts about it) 16 hours ago, HotFriedChicken said: I'm ONLY attracted to Chris Pratt when he's in character as Star Lord. I'm not a big fan of the character but this wasn't a good showing - and understandably so since he was High Evolutionary's puppet for more than half of the movie. he'll definitely kick ass in one of the upcoming Avengers movies

Lovett Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Just back from seeing this and I LOVED it! What a return to form for Marvel. A perfect balance of humour, action and emotions. Absolutely brilliant film.

OreGuy Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 NOW THIS IS A GREAT WATCH so many emotional punches, controlled amount of jokes, and cool action sequences. Marvel's at it again.
Corefield Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 This was fantastic. Cried, laughed, cheered. It was a total blast and a perfect conclusion. Wow

We might finally get a good Superman movie since Christopher Reeve's Superman II (1980 ). If they cast a talented, charming and very likeable actor and the movie is GREAT. It's over for Marvel, I fear. Edited May 5, 2023 by Broken
Johnny Jacobs Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Marvel must be shaking now that he's in DC Maybe he'll do something big for them after all
ALA Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Yeah this rocked. I do not really vibe with James Gunn's persona but this and TSS were both great The MCU going from Quantumania to this whiplash
