there was this race of golden people, mother and son. We last see the mother during the planet's destruction, right before an explosion. Are we to think she is dead? Their race seems pretty powerful, like one that would survive an explosion. I waited for her to ~ unexpectedly ~ appear out of the blue in a critical moment but it never happened.

You think captain America is gonna smash? The only one the cross 1b was civil war and that’s only bc it’s basically an avengers movie

Multiple Hulks(Confirmed) Wolverine (heavily Rumored) , and several New Avengers are confirmed to be formed to be main players in the movie. I don’t believe all scoops, but this movie is gonna be a lot bigger once they show a sizzle reel at comic con. The MCU Wolverine Wepon X plot & and Gamma Red Hulks rumors are pretty much happening at this point. Especially from the looks of set leaks

And even if none of this comes true,  bombs and it’s a generic Captin America Movie. There is no way it will make less than the first Cap Movie. 🤭 it should at least do $700M even if it’s mid

Seeing this in a hour and half. I hope i don't cry based on what i've heard about the animal cruelty scenes. maybe i should bring tissues with me just in case.

damn this was a very good marvel movie. i definitely teared up at some points. i'm so glad james gunn was able to complete his trilogy. what a great way to close out that chapter for the guardians of the galaxy. This movie reminded me why I love the cosmo side of the MCU and I'm definitely excited for The Marvels to expand on that.

- I wonder if we will see more of Adam Warlock in the future. 

 

- Why was Ayeesha so under utilized in this movie? I wish James did a better job with her character and the death scene. That was my only complaint.

-He is presumed dead from the space ship explosion, but they left him alive. So he will probably come back modified by cybernetic tech like in the comics.

 

-We are definitely seeing Adam Warlock again. We will see this team of Guardians and Starlord return in Kang Dynasty. 
 

-I also think she could have been used more, but I feel like Gunn had to juggle a lot of characters and plot points already.

Over the past 10 years, I've gradually outgrown super-hero movies, I think 2017/2018 (Guardians 2, Infinity War, Logan, Wonder Women) was the peak for me then I cared less and less ...

This is how I feel. I felt super emotional at the end as it felt like the end of an era. It feels like all of the super-hero movies/characters that I loved and cared about the most have ended.

 

Looking at the pipeline of Marvel movies coming there's just nothing I feel excited about anymore.

Just saw it today and it was amazing!!! GOTG went from being my least fav Marvel group to now one of the best in my eyes 

 

I feel like this movie shows that Marvel really fumbled the bag w the multiverse saga. It is just not hitting and this movie proved that a lot of the phase 4-5 multiverse movies have lost the grounding and heart of what we’re used to with the MCU in my opinion. I still have hope, but this all culminating with Kang and Johnathan Majors having such major legal troubles is not a good sign 

 

OT but:

I really expected at least 1 or 2 of the Guardians to die, so I’m kind of shocked no one did. Also, I don’t really see how this “closes out” the current Guardians bc all of them can really be brought back. It just seemed like Mantis, Gamora, and Star Lord are taking breaks, and they still need to get Gamora and Star Lord back together after all
