She was really good, but no better than previous MCU acting like Elizabeth Olsen or Hugh Jackman

Elizabeth Olsen was so overrated as SW.

Best Director category is actually gonna be messy, I'm expecting BIG misses

but like who could it be? The Top 4 are pretty much locked imo. I switched Cameron out for Berger. 'Two Towers' teas.

I feel Martin McDonagh is gonna miss (again)

I think Field and McDonagh are not safe for nominations.

Director branch is always known as being snobbish and they snubbed some frontrunners in the past for international auteurs.

Hoping for Park to make it :jonny5:

STOP CELEBRATING FILMS ABOUT WAR

AQOTWF was literally burned and banned by Nazis because it showed the horrors of war for what it truly is (it was written by a Veteran of WW1) :rip:

But yeah let's scratch all that history from our memory and we might as well cancel the director for even touching the subject :clap3::rip::clap3::rip:

when the Daniels get snubbed

Posted

TÁR is a directing feat. There is no world where Field misses.

Posted

The Daniels might get snubbed like Affleck. We'll see.

Maybe EEAAO will end up like Boyhood.

Strong critic mention but underperformed at Oscar :cm:

TAR and Decision to Leave would be nominated for director in a just world, but in reality I'm expecting:

The Daniels

Spielberg

Field

McDonagh

Berger

Park will be snubbed :gaycat7:

Also we all know the REAL snub of the year is going to be Mark Rylance in Bones And All.

Winslet only won for Steve Jobs because her competition was moved up to Lead.

Lawrence is SO lucky that she lost that year, imagine the backlash she would’ve received for beating Lupita and winning a 2nd Oscar so quickly at her age  :deadbanana4:
