All Quiet could be the nomination leader Tuesday give how much passion the industry has thrown at this film

Posted (edited)

Butler

Farrell

Fraser

Nighy

That fifth spot in Best Actor is open, and I don't think that Paul Mescal is happening at all.

The lead from All Quiet... can spoil or maybe they will go with the boring route and nominate Tom Cruise or Hugh Jackman.

lowkey hoping everything gets 5 acting noms.

besides the obvious top 3 in supporting actor, redmayne's been getting in places but he'd be a likely lone nominee and idk if they care enough for that. otherwise:

ward B

Thompson deserves the Oscar nom, rooting for her to pull a Cruz upset

they tend to go for big overall conenders in screenplay, but i'd be LIVING if Living won screenplay. legend ishiguro!

BAFTA redeeming themselves compensating Mulligan after the PYW snub

So happy for Park and Decision To Leave.

Part me wanted Tang Wei to get BAFTA nom.

It's crazy that Tang Wei gives a better performance than Yeoh, but the latter one has been getting flowers from critics and industry :toofunny3:

Can something like this happen again at the Oscars with an acting win?.

I wanna see a winner with a truly shocking reaction (in the last decade it was Olivia Colman for The Favourite, not only Olivia was shocked but the rest of the nominees especially Gaga were shocked too)

Pulling for both Dolly De Leon and Paul Mescal, happy that BAFTA included them. Now Oscar needs to repeat

I blame MGM for Women Talking flopping hard at these awards, their campaign was truly terrible.

They have some truly great movies this year like Women Talking, Till, Thirteen Lives and Bones and All yet they all were getting snubbed left and right.

It’s funny how apparently back then people thought Marisa Tomei’s win was a mistake and she was criticised yet she followed that up with 2 more nominations. Queen :clap3:

I’d like to see more comedic roles being nominated and winning.

Angela, Hong & Carey

I think Dolly was Top 3.

Is there a chance we could see Stephanie Hsu, Hong Chau, and Dolly De Leon ALL get nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar? They all deserve. There's a chance one could get snubbed by the 24th on Oscar morning.

The Fabelmans completely bombing here :ahh: We won

I would agree with you, but BAFTA & their jury didn't even nominate the lead from All Quiet. It was the only thing All Quiet got longlisted for that didn't pick up an actual nomination this morning. He's not getting in.

Someone told me Deadwyler wasnt a lock...anyways.
