Dr. Alexander Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 The way Eddie Murphy and his film Boomerang was apart of the blueprint of the 90s-trend of having shows and films about adult’s normal every day lives such as Sex in the City and Friends. It is bad that the reason it received mixed reviews, except for Roger Ebert who gave it a rave review, was because critics said it wasn’t realistic because Black people couldn’t be successful and have their own businesses
Hector Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 The Fabelmans Best Drama?! Seriously I know GoldDerby had it as the frontrunner at one point but the hype's faded so long now.
Kylizzle Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 That lady came out to give a speech about diversity only for them to award THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN AND THE FABELMANS
fridayteenage Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 (edited) we know they're racist as **** still. remember: moonlight 1 win parasite 1 win slave 1 win 7/top 8 categories went white supremacy. pic/pic/dir/writing/leadx3 Edited January 11, 2023 by fridayteenage
Blade Runner Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Zzzzzz. Hopefully they won't repeat at the Oscars just like last year.
kandicha Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Hmmm I don't buy the Fabelmans as a frontrunner anymore after the BAFTA long-lists flops. Let's see what the PGA preferential ballot has to say.
Konril Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Hurray for Banshees! I'll also be happy with EEAAO. Hope The Fabelmans loses steam as we chug along. BAFTA voters, do your thing.

Monster Megamind Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Top gun deserved best drama. Hopefully the ranked choice voting in the oscars gives it best picture!
Digitalism Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I'm happy with EEOAO, Tar or TBOI winning best picture at the oscars But the fabelmans it's such an uneventful film that is only getting recognition for it's director that it's not even close to being at his full potential
publikcitizen Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 When will the Oscar nominations be announced?

Blade Runner Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Awarding The Fabelmans is like the worst thing ever. Like who even cares... Stop enabling these ego trips.
WildAmerican Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 EEAAO looking overhyped outside of acting. It has supporting Actor locked up, but Cate is still in the running for Actress.
Digitalism Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I'm going to list who I want to win at the oscars not predictions Best picture: Tar Best Actor: Colin Best Actress: Michelle Best S Actor: Ke Huy Quan Best S Actress: Angela or Dolly Best Foreign : Decision to Leave Best Animated : Puss in boots
