I mean this is truly an acting achievement.

This scene is insane!!!! It does not feel like a movie at all it actually feels like watching a real life interview. And Cate, whewww, the timing, the quirk, the hand movement, the tone of her voice… Everything just flows so nicely it feels like velvet. It’s almost hypnotizing tbh.

Bassett's big wins were all from media groups. No industry wins, no regionals or major prestige groups. I don't see why she'd rebound at the Oscars as much as she should be an Academy Award winner by now. :pancake:
