Yes, although Love Me Land has over 50 million streams on Spotify so it hasn’t quite surpassed that yet— though it’s definitely become a much bigger hit and will surpass it in the next few weeks

Talk About Tank is indeed one of her worst songs. Let's pretend this tragedy never happened

The TAL slander is so unnecessary :hippo:

I agree she shouldn’t go the r&b / American driven route and she should stick to pop but that chorus is catchy as hell and the bridge is one of her best bridges ever. Idk wtf Young Thug was doing tho :deadbanana2:

Also that video is great. It’s her  boyfriend in real life too

I love this song, but how is it's climb so slow? Feels like it came out ages ago and it's catching on only now?

I forgot about Zara. I feel like she lost sense of direction when she tried to be big in the US, hopefully she finds her lane again. Hell when I heard her singing Break My Soul, I was like she could definitely take some inspiration from Renaissance and do a Dance album

the fact this could easily be a top 20 hit but Alesso's team doesn't bother with playlisting on Spotify :monkey:

Honestly, that’s Zara’s MO. She isn’t big enough yet to automatically go #1 (or even top 20 for that matter) upon release. Her best bet is a slow burning hit.

But also, she dropped this song in late April (almost May). It really hasn’t been THAT long.

I’ve adjusted my expectations for my girl Z, and I’m hoping her next album is filled with slow burning hits. I honestly don’t see her getting hits any other way rn except with maybe a bigger feature

This song smashing would DEFINITELY help her case, though :gayalipacat5:

This is definitely part of what happened but I think another big aspect was poor management. Like, I think she could have cracked the US with a Columbia / Republic / Warner Bros deal but alas, we’re stuck with Epic.

I like your idea of a dance album like Beyoncé’s, but I’d like it to be more Europop inspired dance (think Look What You’ve Done, Symphony, Love Me Land, and ABBA) than the Urban / Americanized dance record Beyoncé is going for. Don’t get me wrong, I love what Beyoncé is doing, but I love it for her. And I think Zara should follow her own niche into authentic Europop bangers

This, but instead of getting worked up about it I’m just gonna hope the momentum will continue and Words will be forced to be added to playlists just due to it’s momentum.

IF, this does continue to rise at a similar rate it’s been rising, I’m now starting to see this song really gaining traction in the UK / Spotify playlists in late August / September / Early October
