Her best bet is a slow burning hit. But also, she dropped this song in late April (almost May). It really hasn’t been THAT long. I’ve adjusted my expectations for my girl Z, and I’m hoping her next album is filled with slow burning hits. Like, I think she could have cracked the US with a Columbia / Republic / Warner Bros deal but alas, we’re stuck with Epic. I like your idea of a dance album like Beyoncé’s, but I’d like it to be more Europop inspired dance (think Look What You’ve Done, Symphony, Love Me Land, and ABBA) than the Urban / Americanized dance record Beyoncé is going for. Don’t get me wrong, I love what Beyoncé is doing, but I love it for her.
