This, but instead of getting worked up about it I’m just gonna hope the momentum will continue and Words will be forced to be added to playlists just due to it’s momentum.

IF, this does continue to rise at a similar rate it’s been rising, I’m now starting to see this song really gaining traction in the UK / Spotify playlists in late August / September / Early October

I could see this as well.

We also know Zara is planning on releasing the lead for the next album in September / Fall, so this begs the question:

Does Zara still drop her lead this fall if this begins to smash at the same time?

I say yes 100% she should and here’s why:

1. I feel like her traditional route in the past would have been to delay her single if a feature was smashing and she’d always wait too long and kill her hype. She knows she can have two hits at once, right? (Ala Dua, or even NFY and Lush Life)

2. Before Words, she had about 14 M monthly Spotify listeners. She’s now up to 17.5 M, and another single might bring her closer to 20 M. What’s a good way to grow your name/ relevance? Increased MONTHLY listeners

3. This song is technically being pushed by Alesso’s team, so I don’t see why she can’t push her own single at the same time? A smashing “Words” will only help her case with her own single

I'm definitely rooting for her because I feel like her career stall mainly stems from Epic Records being incompetent. And that's an injustice

Wow, hopefully a UK trip before mid-September is in the cards for her! Live Lounge, a couple of televised performances. Like @MississippiZara said, I hope Alesso’s team and label are taking note of how this is steadily growing on streaming. It could be a sleeper UK/EU hit by the fall.
