Now that Bam Bam is a certified streaming hit, it’ll keep the album’s streams afloat for a while i hope. 

Quiet and Hasta Los Dientes are the only obvious single choices left imo

After listening to the album a good 5-10 times every day since release I still think Quiet is the absolute best song on this. And also we need a deluxe ASAP this is so f-ing short, we waited 2 years for 34 minutes of music, really?

How exactly? She had everything this album cycle. High profile relationship in the media and break-up. Lead single performed at the VMAs. Amazing relationship with Spotify getting huge playlisting and TTH placements. Radio sends her into the Top 20 on pop by default. Second single performed on SNL. Tik Tok promo. Ed Sheeran feature.

 

The exposure and promotion and narrative are all there. The public is just not interested beyond streaming "Bam Bam".

 

I don't know where she goes from here. As one of the few young Latinas with this level of fame, I think she will be visible for a while longer because her management can sell her to award shows, endorsements, promo spots etc. with the idea that she is one of the few celebs who can attract a young Latina demographic which is becoming more important in the USA. But her career is in a very tricky spot.

The problem is the music.

 

I’ve been stanning since Crying In The Club but I’m not feeling this album at all.

 

My favorite song is Psychofreak which (imo) is the type of song where she excels at, I really want her to leave the latin sound behind or at least go back to something more in the vein of Havana, She Loves Control or Liar.

 

In an ideal world, CC4 would be full of Psychofreaks, My Oh Mys, Work From Homes, OMGs, Crying In The Clubs and Shameless.

 

Honestly, Familia has even been making me think about unstanning.
