It will surpass My Oh My before the end of the year, but will hit 600M within the first two weeks of January.

South of the Border took over a year and a half to hit 600M, and Bam Bam will only take 10 months. So it's the bigger hit. We missed out on a better chart position this time in the UK, SOTB #4 UK - Bam Bam #7 UK. But we got the higher US peak & overall streams.

Milestones I'm hoping for next year:

1. Havana - 2 Billion

2. Bam Bam - 750 or 800M

3. My Oh My - 600M

4. Don't Go Yet - 400M

5. Never Be The Same - 800M

6. Living Proof - 100M

7. Liar - 500M

8. Psychofreak - 100M

I think it’s 450M right now. So I’m hoping it can gain another 50M in 2023.

She just didn’t support it enough, it would have been a top 40 if she didn’t single jump so much

It was predicted to go top 50 one week, but just missed it.

It definitely could’ve been bigger with some actual promotion. I would love to know the bts tea with Romance, because something was going on.

I remember being upset she was booked every other week to perform somewhere but performed somthing  else   Cry for me on snl. Easy in the UK living proof on ellen.  Just wasting the momentum for a strong solo hit.

that why I have to belive the label forced my oh my

It really was so odd that Shameless & Liar essentially got nothing, and yet these were the two songs that were pushed on radio & Spotify the most.

Camila must've either hated those songs or the label didn't want to invest in them, idk.

But yeah, My Oh My was definitely a panic move. That I'm grateful for because I love the song.

My Oh My is an amazing song. If she didn't want to release and push it, the problem is her.

And yeah we know she never liked Liar. She didn't even want to record it there was some studio drama at the time.

I wouldn't call it a 'panic move'.. but a smart move..My Oh My went viral on tiktok the first week of the 'Romance' release. So they had no choice and it became an official radio single when Christmas songs fell from the charts. And it became Camila's second big hit from the album after Senorita and it was another number one pop radio hit for her!

It was a smart panic move. There was obviously some conflict going on with the 5 solo songs they put out before the album. And none of them did particularly well on the charts. Then My Oh My was tacked on last minute to counter this (we know this as it isn’t on the CD pressing).

I personally don’t believe My Oh My was a song they’d planned on releasing as a single. It was a last minute decision.

They should have never gotten rid of anyone. It should have been a single at some point. Yet they kept snores like dream of you and feel it twice

That song should’ve been the pre album single focus in my opinion

All the unnecessary living proof promotion didn't help..they should have released my oh my as an official single after shameless/liar ..she should have performed my oh my on AMAS,ellen ...the album would have better opening sales with my oh my promotion instead of living proof.

Singles after Senorita should have been Should’ve Said It (lead), Anyone (second single with album release), My Oh My (3rd single) and then This Love (final single)

not whatever was the cluster **** they rolled out

Exactly. If we’d of had a strong single going into album release week then we probably could’ve hit #1 or at least #2. Because if I recall correctly Señorita sales didn’t count??

I’m conflicted with Living Proof. Because that song is the pinnacle of the entire Romance album for me, in terms of reflecting the feeling of love. And the visuals were stunning. But it just sadly isn’t a marketable song.

I know it’s like 3 years ago, but I just still cannot get over the fact that a label with decades of experience and knowledge managed to deliver such an awful rollout.
