I personally wouldn’t call it a global smash. Maybe a global hit. It only peaked in the top 10 in a handful of countries, not many top 5s. No #1s at all.

 

Right now I’m settling on the song being a My Oh My / South of the Border.

 

If it can become her next song to cross 1 billion Spotify streams then I’ll view it more highly.

I was !!! If it did a little better chart wise I might think so, but doja tends to win a lot.  Plus awarding unholy means big LGBT achievement and that gets press.

As much as I want her to, I don't really think she's gonna win it but I'm just so happy for the nomination (and for the fact she might be invited to attend AND perform!).

 

I'll keep my prayers tho. She's very well liked in the industry and Ed Sheeran attracts Grammys too, besides the fact this is the most unique song out of the list since it's basically a salsa/pop song with a freaking WGWG Ed Sheeran AND a great message!

she'll never get the credit she deserves on here, but oh well, she's made a pretty good career for herself so far, a long way from the shy girl she used to be before XF
