CottageHore Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) Congrats on doing it healthily! My eating disorder'd ass started trying to lose weight without restriction this year and progress is slower so it pisses my mentally ill brain off but I'm getting way more toned and feel way mentally healthier. I prioritize moving my body as much as possible. In moments when I'd typically be sedentary, I simply choose not to be. I walk constantly. I walk typically 2-4 miles a day, some days I do HIIT, and every day I do some form of weight training. I count my calories simply because it keeps me from binging and restricting- knowledge of what you put in your body is always power. If you're trying to do it healthy, it has to be done through a lifestyle change. No crash diets. No unrealistic expectations. Just prioritize working more movement into your daily routine and do so in ways that will become life-long. Cut that 3 hours of watching TV at night down to 1.5 and go for a nice walk, put some good music on or a podcast, and walk until you can't anymore. You'll drop weight consistently over time edit: idk how tf I got here but wrong thread Edited April 10 by CottageHore
