Witchpop Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Spoiler While I liked it, I still have questions about some things. I also can't lie and say I'm not disappointed with Agatha being a ghost now. They hyped up Nicky dying as maybe there was a deal made that involved the Darkhold and it just turned out he died in his sleep and Death took him? Kinda let down. I saw people say Agatha stole all the witches power and created "The Road" to keep Death busy as to not come for Nicky, but that's kinda lame...idk I was expecting there to have been a deal unfulfilled or something more to the story. The fight with Death also wasn't as grand as it could have been, we see Agatha get her powers back from Wiccan and transform into the grand outfit she had in Wandavision, but only used her powers like 2 times. Idk....obviously like they said, you can't beat Death, but I was expecting more from the showdown. I would give the ending two episodes a 7/10 as there are some stuff I really enjoyed. Also NO MID/POST CREDIT SCENES????
ainadalkaz Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Spoiler wanda stans are going to be PISSED OFF i had a feeling agatha would die but at least she's still serving KVNT as a ghost i did not really like the finale if i'm being honest, but that might be only because we don't have any witch related mcu stuff coming up... hopefully the unannounced project is a wanda movie or something because if we have to wait another 3+ years for this story to continue....... 2 1

Kathryn Han got to give such an emotional Performance. I Cried twice. The Plot Twist really played into the powers in the comics too! Spoiler Billy Creating the Road, Like Wanda Created the Westview Sitcom Hex. Genius! Perfect use of how strong Wiccan is. Also I liked the 1800's flashback, but they could have cut 3-5 minutes of the bonding scenes. I get they were going for an emotional punch for when her son died, but I'd rather had a post credit scene. 😭 still crazy we didn't get one. anyways, Wiccan suit looked amazing and his powers too. Ghost Agatha actually looked good! There is a lot packed in these 2 episodes but overall I say my favorite parts was the morgue room with Agatha, Jen, & Billy. And Billy trying to banish Agatha. Haha 😆 The magic side of the MCU is my favorite part post endgame so far. 8.5/10 for episode 8, and 7.5 for 9. I actually think they should have put the flashback scene as episode 8 and the agath rio fight as 9 with 5-10 more minutes of witch action Edited October 31 by Gorjesspazze9 3

publikcitizen Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Incredible finale! Yes there are some unanswered questions but they may be answered later. Overall, I felt very satisfied with how it ended. It was so well done. I can't wait to rewatch the whole show in one sitting this weekend 1 3

I get that they were going for a more emotional/sad/"that's life" moment, but I think it didn't pay off well, especially when we got that amazing scene of the darkhold in the crib at the beginning Loved the plot twist tho, the way Billy created his own Hex just like her mother and the suit looked AMAZING Poor Miss Davis 1

Agatha's origin story was very touching, probably my favorite part of these two episodes. I can see why they decided to scrap the Witches Road special and repurposed it for this though. Wiccan's entrance looked so cheap lmao But exciting nonetheless. I love they are adapting Agatha's comic arc of being a ghost, originally guiding Wanda, here her son. Pretty sweet. And her outfit, very comic accurate! I hope, like on the comics, she eventually comes back to life. 2

I think that was the plan originally since Jac Schaeffer had to leave the production of VisionQuest because of this, but whatever shitstorm went down at Marvel these past few years prevented it from happening. 2
