Agatha All Along (2024)

Yeah that was genuinely such an incredible episode! The way the episode played with time and the order of the events was so skilfully done and I have to give a huge credit to the writing because it felt far more elevated then anything marvel has produced so far. Patti truly nailed it with such a complicated character to have to play as well.

Spoiler

The twitter Wanda stans are so :skull: constantly dragging Billy because he doesn't gush over Wanda when they've made it clear multiple times he has no recollection of his past.

some of the wanda stans on twitter are so ******* annoying, dear lord. atp i'm not sure if they're just rage baiting (if they are then they're very successful lmao), or if they're flat out oblivious to the comic book lore

anyway, amazing episode. i understood why it was put together like that, but it was slightly off-putting at first. death GAGGED me, mother looked so good :gaycat6:

i have a sneaking suspicion that they might kill off agatha in the finale and i hope i'm wrong :biblionana:

In the comics she WAS a ghost - as an old woman. She has since come back to life and been de-aged. She recently had an arc where she was the caretaker of the living embodiment of the darkhold - which looks like a human boy around 10-12 years old.

It's worth mentioning that she was also a babysitter for Franklin Richards (Fantastic Four) for a while and that she was a part of an iteration of the midnight suns (allegedly a movie is in development). I doubt she is going anywhere but you never know.

To put in perspective Episode 1 &2 combined had 9M in 1 Week:wanda:

Marvel Studios wasn't lying when they said this has the best retention of any show they have had.
also Episode 3 Nielsen numbers are out and it's another week in the top 10 on Nielsen.

i'm sure it will, it's the double episode season finale + halloween weekend, so people who haven't watched it at all will probably be binging it. it's kinda the perfect halloween weekend content when you think about it.

and if the finale has some crazy post credits scene, it will blow up for sure :duca:

I'm so happy for next week, obviously it's going to be sad it's coming to an end but what a fantastic show! Can't wait for what's to come in the series finale and it comes to show there are so many characters they can explore and develop, I'm a big Wanda fan and I would love for the MCU to explore magic more in the future but I think it's better we leave her character in limbo for the time being until we can get Jac on board for another project.

In a perfect world Jac would continue the storyline with the Children'a Crusade and the solo SW film.

People online have pointed out how we only saw five of the Salem Seven getting impaled, and I checked myself and it's true. :lakitu:

Plus the Tower Tarot Card shows two people falling outside, so imagine two of them have survived and will feature in the finale.

There's also apparently at least 2 of them who can transform into animals that can fly, so those might be the survivors. Plus, the only one of them who gets listed in the end-credit sequence (the cicada) is one of them, so I figured she'd survive, at the very least.

She did. Agatha released the darkhold from Wanda at some point a year or so ago. Chthon i just got unleashed? Or partially got unleashed? A lot has happened in her run.

That's what I mean. Just to see her again or some type of confirmation that we will see her again.

I think we will get that confirmation at the end of Vision Quest. It would make sense for for Vision, Billy and Tommy to find Wanda after they've all had their storylines well developed and it'll be a full circle moment for them to rescue Wanda but not before they have their memories restored.

i NEEED just one little spec of Wanda, i will take a little red sparkle at this point

Highly doubt it. I am keeping my expectations very low. So if she does by some insane chance does appear, it will be the cherry on top. If Fiege somehow manage to keep this under wraps I'd be shocked.

Wow, the Lilia episode is easily the best MCU episode and also the best use of time travel in MCU.

I'm not really expecting a cameo from Wanda. Maybe her name will be mentioned. I think we might get a Tommy cameo or a White Vision cameo to set up VisionQuest.
