When Billy said "She's not my mother, I have a mother." Was he saying Wanda not his mother?

Yeah he sounds like he still conflicted.

Spoiler

Like later in the episode he kept asking if he really is Billy or William, even tho we have had 2 episodes of it being confirmed already. I just think he is emotional and still processing the reveal

I like the tie-in of Lilia's story and this episode had such a dramatic/beautiful ending! Really excited to see how the last two episodes pull it all together.

While the episode was great, I don't know how else to put it but I kinda wish the stakes felt higher. The Salem seven don't really feel like formidable opponents.. more like tweakers? Even with the roads deadly nature and trials it all feels slightly waggish

So doesn't this lend credence to the Sailor Moon mechanics of reincarnation in that their souls were implanted into human bodies but had no recollection of their past selves? So Billy is inside of William with no recollection but has been living William's life and has spent the last 3 years growing attached to William's mom so it can be hard to reconcile the two realities

Better get a 2 hour episode next week since it's a double feature:loki: enough with these 25 minute episodes. Hope they stick the landing, cuz so far this show has been blowing expectations.

Spoiler

Swear if we get even a 30 second Wanda & Agatha reunion post credit :wanda:
Also Ep 8 will be Rio's/Deaths trail

This episode was ******* amazing.

Spoiler

Even tho everybody knew, the reveal of Rio being Death was pretty dope. Lilia's character is amazing. How everything tied in had me giggling like a little kid :rip:  and I cried so hard when she realized she was gonna die :'( and then seeing her fall. I sobbed

It wasn't quite a tearjerker episode, but it invoked a strong emotion in me, an inspiration of some sort.

Spoiler

Lilia's life flashing back at her death symbolizing her reborn or something, was such a cool shot

This is hands down the best episode of the season so far. The direction, the way the story was told and it tied together Lilia's story across the season and even through her life... Excellent work. I just knew she'd have the best trial but I didn't expect it to be this good.

Rio's reveal was nice but I feel like they already made it abundantly clear in previous episodes that she had something to do with death, so I wasn't gobsmacked but it worked. Good special effects there, especially loved the transition from her to the death's tarot card.

Kinda disappointed the Salem Seven were defeated like that, I expected a big showdown or something. It's cool that Lilia took them out with such ease, but for how ominous they were presented I feel like they should've done... More.

Can't wait for next week's finale. Secretly I'm hoping for a Wanda or at least Tommy post credit :duca:

It's so funny that the subtitles kept saying "speaking Sicilian" when it was just normal Italian :ahh:

wait I just realized something:chick2:

Spoiler

Lilia told Agatha "when she calls you a coward, hit the deck". How does she know about what will happen next when she is supposed to be dead? Sure she is a divination witch but all the specific info she told only because she already "live" through it. Right?

There's only one explanation - she will be alive in the future.:jonny5::jonny5:I can see Agatha wishing for her new coven to be back.

But yeah at the same time Lilia's character got a full closure, so there isn't a real reason for her to be back. We will see:chick3:

Can't wait for the next week finale. Hopefully we get some tease of Wanda or at least Tommy.

Don't forget the ballad says

"If onе be gone, we carry on, spirit as our guidе"

So maybe her spirit has seen what was going to happen.
