Mr. Peanutbutter Posted October 2 Posted October 2 The Marvel incel fans triggered by this gay show. They wont survive watching Iron Heart which has Shea Coulée (a drag queen) in the cast 7

Hector Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Great episode! The scenes of the power ballad version of The Ballad Of The Witches Road were EVERYTHING Ominous ending too. 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 (edited) I LOVE THIS SIDE OF THE MCU! Spoiler Marvel said Lesbian Rights! Omg Aubrey knows she looks good with that Eye Liner😩 I loved the 1970's Recording Studio set so much. The musical number was epic, and the fire effects were awesome! I also love how well they are balancing all the witches! we got a lot more bonding and some backstory on each of them. It flows well, even tho I think the first 5 minutes they rushed rio's introduction. The sexual tension of Agathario is off the charts 😆 so far I'm having a great time, and excited for the next trials. also Agatha has been acting super sketchy everytime the witches challenge her about what she did the first time on the road. Almost like Agatha hasn't actually done these trials before and just cheated and took a shortcut. I think she manipulated her first coven and that's why they wanted to take her powers back in Salem/Wandavision flashback. Or something cuz she keeps acting weird when they ask her details about her first trip Edited October 3 by Gorjesspazze9 2
Evans Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I found this episode kinda boring loved the ending tho, can't wait for next week 2
SinnerCity Posted October 3 Posted October 3 What a fantastic episode, I love how we're getting their characters' back-story little by little, and that ending, is fantastic, you could see Agatha's pain in her eyes Spoiler Can we imply that Rio/Death took Nicholas' life? Maybe due to sickness or something, because it seems that it was her job to do so and that broke Agatha's heart, I dont buy that she would trade her son's life to have the Darkhold since she seems clearly heartbroken, although I could be wrong but yeah, this show is fantastic so far. 5
Cardcaptor Sakura Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Lilian's make up makes her look like an ugly drag queen 1
stochastic Posted October 3 Posted October 3 (edited) Gawd this ep had everything. Asian generational trauma. Lesbians lezzing out. Trauma bonding over a campfire. - - Some rambling thoughts: Someone who is more eagle eyed should compile what Lilia says when she has visions or dissociates. But honestly, I felt this ep was great balancing humor and topics that had more gravity, closure about Lorna's death and also more processing about Nicholas. I was dying at their intentions when summoning the new green witch. I'm scared for the bait-and-switch with Agatha. She's softened her edges and is displaying maturity but I just have a feeling she'll revert back to her old ways and betray everyone at the end. It would be a great takeaway that ppl can demonstrate change but I think the audience is being ambushed. Edited October 3 by stochastic 1 3

Bad but when a greater evil appears, becomes sort of benevolent

KFC Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I didn't really enjoy that episode. The ensemble feel kinda weak to me I wish the show focused more on Agatha than the coven
KFC Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Spoiler Also the Funko spoilers took a lot of tension/mystery out of this episode 1
TheCheshireCat Posted October 3 Posted October 3 (edited) I was like "huh, have seen a surprisingly little amount of hate for this show" so out of morbid curiosity I went looking for it and sure enough the usual anti-woke youtube channels are calling it a flop etc, but tbh it seems more like just the usual conservative moaning, nothing too bad. I think the difference between this show and the acolyte is that this show is not only stronger but also had a fanbase ready to embrace it right away (wanda stans) and its pretty isolated in general Marvel lore, unlike the Acolyte which was far easier to clip out of context, say "THEY ARE CHANGING THINGS!!!" and lure neutral fans on board the hate train. I hope this show ends strong, been enjoying it a lot! Edit: Also another point, why would disney or anyone expect this show to pull in huge numbers? Its a semi-musical show about middle aged witches and a gay boy thats based on the villain of a streaming show from like 3 years ago, with zero high profile Marvel cameos and a cast of tv actresses. Beyond the name Marvel this show has almost nothing about it that is mainstream, imo. So for that I think the current ratings make absolute sense. Edited October 3 by TheCheshireCat
Jglj Posted October 3 Posted October 3 This series is shaping up to be the greatest thing Marvel has released since WandaVision, another great episode. Can't wait for the next episode. Spoiler I'm glad they are not dragging the misdirect of Teen being Agatha's son, last episode seemed they definitely wanted to point in that direction which made clear he wasn't. I love the chemistry of the group, them becoming more trusting of each other and sharing stuff was so good, also although I liked Sharon/Mrs Hart, Rio gives the show more tension. 1
Lightbringer007 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 ep 4 was so good! in terms of story I actually liked it the best out of the episodes shown we really got great storyline development with each character and the connection between agatha + rio + teen is getting more and more in depth than I had initially thought 2
