Bubble Tea Posted September 23 Posted September 23 The first two episodes absolutely SLAP!!!!!!!!! Wandavision is single handedly one of the greatest things Marvel has ever done. Honestly thinking Agatha All Along might just be the greatest thing I am clinically obsessed. Kathryn Hahn is absolutely killing it. When episode 1 fired up and it was all Spoiler Mare of Easttown inspired I was absolutely LIVING. This show is such great payoff for TV fanatics. I hope we get more contemporary TV shows referenced 4

Gorjesspazze9 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) This was so fun! Agatha, This *****. Spoiler I loved how each witch got thier little Spooky hallucinations. Perfect vibe for Halloween. Also them working together to make the spell potion was awesome. we got the first actual mephisto name drop! And confirmed Agatha traded her child for the darkhold. Also the other witches couldn't hear Teen, plus it's pretty obvious who he is. These small character moments mixed with the fun witch adventure is keeping this entertaining. Also the color schemes throughout the episode was fire. The ending was perfect. I assume each of them will die during the trial. Poor Sharon 😭 she my fav. Edited September 26 by Gorjesspazze9 1

Anyway great episode, loved seeing the coven working together for the first time. The tone, humor and references of this show are just chef's kiss for me, they scratch that WandaVision itch that no other show or movie has really been able to replicate. Gagged at the Mephisto namedrop and at the reveal (confirmation?) that Agatha sacrificed her son for the Darkhold, I love that despite the campy façade the show doesn't shy away from portraying the characters with all their lights and shadows. Poor Sharon, I really didn't expect her to die but oh well 2
Liafen Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Welp, the first two episodes were pitch perfect but the third was kind of mid. Especially the beginning was a bit lame, once they got into action it was kind of okayish. Wish they leaned more into the hallucinations part and them needing to "escape" them instead of it randomly happening to everyone for about 30 seconds. 2
