Gossip_Boy Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 This potentially having the biggest opening this year for a CBM (i don’t see The Flash, Aquaman and certainly not Kraven or Blue Beetle touching it, so The Marvels is the only threat really) just feels correct. 1 1
Chiidish Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Deserved for being better than the original masterpiece and somehow still making me need a continuation. A classic trilogy in the making + DC about to reboot Static Shock to try and copy this success so a double win for me
BNF91 Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Incredible domestic debut. Overseas is a little bit disappointing to see it not breakout in the same fashion as domestic, but I'm sure it will leg out decently and have zero trouble outgrossing the first OS by quite a bit.

Aquaman 1 is the highest grossing DC movie ever
ainadalkaz Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 deserved and beyond the spiderverse will be even bigger

Poxy Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 A collapse! The third one is gonna be even BIGGER. It's gonna have the same release window the Mario Bros movie had this year. Spring Break box office smash secured
GivingCher Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Well deserved, just got out of it and it was incredible! June is a crowded month for movies but I hope the strong word of mouth carries it far.

I’m all fairness, Disney did Pixar dirty because Soul, Luca and Turning Red were all great movies.
