Umm are those audience figures that were just released accurate? Because they are significantly less then the first season for some reason :sherlock:

Spoiler

This season was incredible, I loved it even more than season 1, because it felt more real. I read the comic and I was worried about how they were going to deal with some topics because the first season was very cute/happy, but they did a good job.

The last episodes were the best, the acting was amazing and the chemistry between kit and joe felt stronger.

the one who played nick's brother did a good job, I wanted to punch my laptop everytime he said something lol.

Unexpectedly Imogen was one of my favorite characters this season...

Btw they need to shoot season 3 asap because  some characters like tori and kit barely looked like teenagers this season, I'm worried they would look to old the next season.

thankfully this show isn't affected by the strike since its produced in the UK with British actors.

Is Olivia not a SAG member though? I thought that could cause some problems maybe

she is probably a member of Equity, but idk the details on how/why she would be part of both that and SAG. but fair point.

Episode 5 stuff:

Spoiler

Another great episode, visually stunning and so many fun moments going on, The shot that was sweeping between all the different pairs having a conversation was really neat. Isaac having a go at Harry was great but felt really forced like no way the quiet outcast book type is going to start dragging like that :dies: The Ben conversations are starting to get really tiresome now, just really not a fan of a character and him still floating about. Tara confronting Darcy finally was a great moment but felt like it was just left to hang in the air which was sort of strange. The conversation between Elle and Nick was brilliant and it being the catalyst that pushed Elle into kissing Tao was so sweet, genuinely loved that part, they make the awkwardness and innocence of the romance work so well. The Tao and Charlie lock was such a sweet moment too as I feel like it subverted the romantic expectations and instead leaned into showing how strong their friendship is. The fainting scene and the conversation afterwards really had me emotional tbh. It’s so strange because I can’t relate to what the character is going through but I also find the vulnerability of being open about your feelings and issues quite overwhelming when I know it’s something I wish I could do but don’t have anyone to do that with. Nick being so understanding and wanting to learn how to help him cope was brilliantly acted by Kit it felt so so honest and pure. Does Sahar have a bigger role later in the graphic novels or something because I feel like she’s sort of just been thrown into the group with no explanation or any sort of character at all? Like we don’t know a thing about her except she’s organising prom… even Harry has more development going on and that really shouldn’t be the case. All the scenes on the Eiffel Tower were absolutely stunning and continue to show why the shows visuals and aesthetic play just as strong a role as the story and characters.

this season was not for me. i think the initial charm of the first season wasn't carried over? also the script and performances overall got worse in my onion.

felt like not much was happening this season (even though i know things DID happen lol).

I ******* love yasmin finney so i shall continue to tune in <3

I thought it was okay as well.  Overall the show feels way too PG... Give us some kind of love/sex scenes. :michael:

I think it's meant for a very young audience. Maybe people between 10-18?

I thought the ending of season 2 was a little bit lame? There was no cliffhanger or anything emotional.

It's literally a coming of age love story of minors... The obsession with sex needs to stop. Not everything needs to have sex scenes. :ace:

Very good numbers. I'm sure Netflix is happy. We need to remember, this a teen queer show. It's for a fairly niche audience. It's never going to do Bridgerton or Wednesday numbers.

I think the show did a very good job adapting the comic once again.

I love the two reads in EP 7. Love that for them.

I understand some people that say this one lacked drama or a big peak, the thing is, this one sort of sets up abig storyline in the next season. And I'm a bit afraid of that storyline because I hope they don't sugarcoat it, but also I don't want them to send the wrong message with it.
