So in terms of adapting I’m gonna guess that Season 2 is Volume 3+4 and Season 3 will be Volume 5+ Nick and Charlie? The fact that both seasons got announced at the same time is such a sigh of relief tbh, I wonder if it also means they are going to try and film both back to back?

Filming them back to back could work to avoid the cast aging too fast between seasons. It could also avoid potential issues with Doctor Who filming for Yasmin if she is a permanent companion and not just in the 60th anniversary special that is filming now.

People are speculating that the filming block for the new season of Doctor Who starts in November this year and ends in July 2023. If they are potentially filming season 2+3 together I think it’s very unlikely Yasmin will be the next main companion unfortunately (tho there’s nothing stopping her having a recurring role and show up in a couple of episodes).

I've been lurking here for a while, but I just wanted to say I'm SO happy we're getting 2 more seasons. Hopefully this means Alice is able to finish the story in both the webtoon and the series just how she wants to.

 

Needless to say, binging this show (twice) made me so happy!

So excited that they went ahead and renewed it for 2 more seasons. I knew Netflix would do us well with all the Nick & Charlie simping they’ve been doing on socials.

Admittedly I'm a little bit worried about the future of Netflix, however I'm glad this show just got renewed for two more seasons mainly because the story mostly develops as they're teenagers so waiting to long to film could just mess the whole thing up as they would all end up looking too old for the roles. 

 

I just finished reading volumes 3 & 4 and it continues the same trend of being an incredibly cute story while also dealing with some real stuff. 

 

I'm a bit anxious about the portrayal of Charlie's struggles in Season2 and on, simply because I've met people who have gone through similar experiences and even from the outside, it's really, really tough. But I trust that Alice and her team will be able to deliver.
