Sophie was such a cool guest, it's a shame they didn't lip sync to one of her songs. They did the same with Jessie Ware for some reason... 

Lovely episode. I liked that they're lip syncing for the badge. Gives them something to fight for.

 

Somehow I'm rooting for Naomi's wholesome vibe even if she's serving nothing. Girl, had to get injured to get story line.

This season is much more enjoyable to me so far than 3 and 4. I don't know exactly why that is, because I don't really care for a lot of this cast drag wise. But they seem to have better chemistry together or something.

 

Maybe it's just the drama between Cara Melle and Tomara tbh, that gave me so much life and I was fully tuned in sorry to be that girl but I live for the drama and pettiness.

Also random but Cheddar Borgeous is a snooze  They truly made watching that season more painful to watch.

But imagine being told the category is “pop icons” and you could do Gaga/madonna/kylie(hello a MASSIVE UK icon)/Rihanna/Amy winehouse etc

not a fan of how she paints and the look was okay, but Nicki is indeed a massive icon for the gays and esp tons of white gays from outside the US, so it was interesting he dared doing a black woman but it’s also totally realistic

DeDe is so disappointing given her lineage. Krystal doesn't really deserved this stain on her legacy.  Jk....she is very likable, but she needs to step it in the looks department, like it's almost there just needs to fine tune some things. Her drag gives me more old school drag vibes than Krystal's though. They are so different but her mug definitely gives Krystal's chubby geek sister.

Oh, this was another EXCELLENT episode  I'm fully hooked on this season!

 

I thought this challenge would make for a boring episode, but the cast chemistry, the drama, and the runway ATE!

And the challenge was funny too - both for the wrong and right reasons.

 

And for the first time, I think the judging was SPOT ON!

If they wanted to make it a solo win they could've given it to Tomara (or Michael), but that whole team deserved.

 

Bless Naomi, I actually thought they'd send her home cause of the knee and not in the "traditional" way, but regardless, she was just a bit out of her league.

She's super likable and she actually put up a very good fight in the lipsync, but it was her time.

 

Now this Top8 is REALLY strong and I'm very curious to see how the rest of the season unfolds

Another fantastic episode. Team 2 was brilliant but I was HOWLING at the third team  It was such a train wreck. 

Low-key, Naomi should’ve been safe and arguably should have won her lipsync but with her knee and confidence it was her time to go. She is such a likeable girl and her send off was so sweet.
 

Also, Banksie was absolutely correct to call out Vicky and Cara. They both blamed her when she was holding the team together. Cara gets so offended by everything and Vicky seems like a snake.

I see CaraMelle, Banksie, Tomara Thomas and Ginger Johnson/Kate Butch being T4.

Another fantastic week  I agree with all the placements. Tomara is officially the front runner so far and Michael finally got a moment to shine after some glimpses of excellence. Ginger was great too but something’s just… missing for me with her edit? She doesn’t get much air time nor are her looks memorable so she feels almost like an extra on set sometimes lol

Cara is so sensitive, I'm glad she got put in the bottom, hopefully it humbles her a bit

 

Her and Vicki QUITE CLEARLY threw Banskie under the bus so for them to go to Untucked and deny it is wild  I wish Banksie had more of a backbone and dragged them for filth

For me it’s cause she’s sloppy.

 

Like the mug is Krystalized but still doesn’t look polished or “clean” enough, messy padding, costumes not quite fitting right….she needs to get it together and be more detail oriented. And I feel like she has no signature drag look…she came out on the runway looking like Choriza May one week, Loosey Laduca more polished sister the next, then the Nicki Minaj teas…..what is her signature aesthetic? I still don’t know, other than the Krystalized mug.

First of all, amazing episode. I was entertained seeing the good groups and the bad groups too.  The drama was amazing as well.  
 

kinda felt like Naomi got the short end of the stick on this one … the other group was soooo bad that I really think it should have been all of them 3 way lip syncing or saving Banksie for her runway.

i was thinking the same thing. 3 way lip sync.

I completly relate to Banksie in untucked  so glad she called out those girls.

Although I do personally connect with her, I think it may be the fact that she doesn’t have much of a “brand”. Tomara I’m drag is just Tomara out of drag with a wig and heels lol (though she looks CCCUUUNNNTTTYYY doing it!) She’s only done drag for a year or so - clearly she’s got the makings of a great queen, but perhaps needs some time to grow into herself as a “character”

I was fuming last week that they didn’t send anyone home especially because they sent Alexis home the week before. Like 3 weeks at the start of the season only one girl going home seems so rude? Then I realized/remembered they quietly sent the predator packing  

 

but yes I agree this season is giving. I love that you can’t really see a clear winner/top 2 (imo) although I’m not into Michael’s drag at all and she seems to be getting quite a good edit.
 

One thing this season is lacking for me tho is that I don’t really have a favorite I’m rooting for, all the girls are just kinda there. Cara would prob be my fave if I had to pick, her look this runway was immaculate

Love love love Naomi, she lowkey didn’t bomb in a way but she did talk in circles and had no jokes  Cara talking about love and personal experiences but playing an over the top character no one can relate to  the Bttm seemed correct to me (although Naomi Lowkey won the lip sync) maybe they wanted knee insurance lol.

 

Love the Geordies, although Ginger didn’t deserve a badge but whatever.

 

Great runways and some nice drama, this season is really shaping up well.
