Good finale. Sad, tender, tragic  and had some sweet moments even if they weren't all real. Interesting that Capote's manuscript for Answered Prayers was never found. 

 

Jessica Lange ATE her scenes DOWN, I hope she gets a Supporting or Guest Actress nomination  The final scene with the Swans was a small treat.

 

I guess at the Emmys in Limited Series, it'll be:

 

Lead Actor: Tom Hollander (he or Matt Bomer in Fellow Travelers are worthy of winning)

Lead Actress: Naomi Watts, Diane Lane,  Chloe Sevigny, Calista Flockhart (or the latter two could end up in supporting)

Supporting Actress: Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Jessica Lange (or Guest Actress)

Supporting Actor: Joe Mantello, Treat Williams,  Russell Tovey (who basically disappeared in the second half)

This was mostly boring. But casting was on point and the talent was undeniable. I expect multiple acting nominations on Emmy's and will prolly get Best Ensemble awards.
