It does glow, bruto :swan: Why didn't you chase right after it?

You can't get to Saria Lake until you unlock the shrine to the south, then follow the bright mushrooms. But the reward isn't great, so don't get your hopes up.

Not with a long a pillar of light it doesn’t! And I didn’t chase it because

Spoiler

I saw the master sword :swan:

The atmosphere in the lightning temple feels very reminiscent of the OoT/MM days. I love the dungeon even though it had some easy puzzles :gaycat4:

I think that's why I liked it so much. especially the early part before you even reach the elevator that needs the batteries. it was giving indiana jones /n64 era for sure

1:38  - can someone tell me which side quest is that? :rip: I already finished the main quests, the only thing left to do is Destroy Ganondorf

Umm that's the one where you ride monsters with other npcs. It has two parts, you first find them near the Lookout and then the quest is called "For The Princess!" or something like that but I can't remember where are they excatly.

What is the best way to approach silver lynel and the final fight?

The ending should've kept Zelda as a dragon.

The way I can barely even beat the regular ones :rip: That Lynel colosseum is impossible for me

TLDR:

Base: 30 pwr 40 dur

vsGloom: 45 pwr 80 dur

vsFinalBoss: 60 pwr  dur

*Does not proportionally increase the power of Fused items*

*Fused items do not give any additional durability (standard is +25)*

All that hard work & for what? bSh1Oy5.thumb.gif.6b741c3cd7b018ef5471cebf194af0a8.gif I was wondering why the MS seemed to break faster than my standard (Fused) weapons this time.

The sages were also low-key useless in the final battle. :deadbanana:

Just finished the game and I repent for the **** I talked about it :jonnycat:

This is the game I wanted BOTW to be, I did not enjoy that game TOTK was so much better, the entire final sequence was amazing, I just wish there was a post game :chick3:

Finally making some good progress. :jonny:Really been spending time down in the Depths exploring. Also beat my first gloom hands/Phantom Ganon spawn in the Deku Tree(I already had the Master Sword so it was a bit easy. Made that whole plot line anticlimactic though :rip:). And I didn’t know Flux Constructs were that easy with Ultrahand. :rip: I took out all the Level 3s in all the Lomei Depth Labyrinths in no time.

Beat the game yesterday. GOTY, best Zelda game, etc!!!!!

Spoiler

The spike in difficulty in the final boss compared to BOTW nn. I suppose the Hyrule Castle raid before the final boss was harder than the Gloom Origin lead-up to the final boss, but I did absolutely love how atmospheric and cinematic that lead-up in TOTK was.

The monster raid was pretty easy... but I do love the sage interaction. Especially when they joined in for phase 2 of Ganondorf. I was SHOOK when Ganondorf did the flurry rush and yelled "You can't do that ***** only I do that!" and of course the final phase was cinematic and fun.

I did all the lightroots and shrines before the final boss, so I don't really see myself coming back to this unless they do DLC. But I got like 130 hours in so that's fine by me

just beat the rito area and it's a slay :gaycat1:

i'm really shocked how i don't have a favorite between the 3 temples, i think they're all on par

i'll say only the lead up to the "fire temple" is weaker than the other 2 because it's too short. another fun mission with "yunobo" in the depths before the temple would've fixed that.

i'm starting to feel sad now because i'm about to finish the game real soon. probably next week :chick3: I only have zora area to "explore", complete the story/quests there and that's it ...

so far I have

9½ batteries

9 dragon tears/memories

144 shrines

135 caves/bubbul gem

52 wells

416 koroks

I think I did pretty good, I think I'll complete all of them whithin a week except the "batteries" + "koroks". these two can **** off, I'll do it on my own time, finish them next year or never

I am not going to 100% this by the time ff16 comes out. :rip:

I only explored like 25% of the depths and I hate going down there, it's so boring and the same ugly aesthetic. I would rather have them use resources to expand the sky islands or change Hyrule a little more.

Lmao you're just like me for real. HATE IT! I actually find it scary. :ahh: Hate getting attacked by bokoblins or bats or whatever when I can't see ****. That damn toxic stuff on the ground, it's really the pits lol.

Why do y'all use spoiler tags but don't give any context for what's inside the spoiler?

Anyway, the water temple was so tedious to me for some reason :rip: So far, I think it's Wind > Fire > Water. We'll see if I saved the best for last!

Just finished this tonight and just in time for FF16:jonny:

What can I say about this game…It literally left me in awe all throughout. BOTW was already my favorite game ever and here comes TOTK and it ramps up everything. The difficulty, the new abilities, the depths, the sky islands etc Truly a masterpiece of a game and the fact that the devs were able to make this run at all on the Switch is extremely impressive. Honestly it’s GOTY. FF16 and Spider Man 2 might be great and all but this one is for the history books. :weeps:

If I have any comments to make and they’re not necessarily negative is that the sheer amount of stuff do is staggering and a bit overwhelming. I think I got my fix for now but I don’t know if I’ll ever clear out the depths. :rip: Not only is it kinda creepy lmao but idk I’m not feeling compelled to discover it all. Love that they thought of something new and expanded the world further but it really doesn’t do much for me. I really enjoyed the sky islands though. The game is like 9.5/10 for me. And it beats BOTW. Amazing achievement by Nintendo.

I'm surprised a video so negative, (with a lot of over exaggeration, but also a lot of truth) has a 95% like ratio :matty: On a channel that was built upon Zelda content no less.

Shrine hunting without using the internet can be frustrating sometimes  I thought it would be easier now cause lightroots can serve as map points for the overworld but the remaining shrines are so hard to find. I don’t think I’ll finish this game soon

Some arguments are valid, but overall it just seems like negativity for the sake of negativity :rip:

I know without the internet I’d probably never find anything in either of these two games. They’re just so vast, even more so for TOTK considering one of the maps is literally pitch dark. :rip:

But I’ve made my peace with it especially with FFXVI coming out and it being my #1 franchise and Zelda as my #2. I’ll still be working through this game slowly.

hmmm that Zora boss :bibliahh: they can't be serious

weirdly enough though for me it was the most challenging of the 4, i'm well overpowered at this stage and it still took me longer to beat it than the other 3. i do know they are scaling the bosses with your progression but still

as for the temple itself, once again i do not understand the people who says that there is temples superior to others. to me they're all equivalent in quality and also in the time spent doing them. they're certainly not a-mah-zing but they're still great and concise.

1 thing that got me confused throughout my play session today is why is there so many "main quests" for Zora, why couldn't they just put them all under "Sidon" like the other areas. so unnecessary. for a moment I thought they broke the formula for this place but it's all the same lead up, they just decided to be extra

really the water temple was over in a flash for me :rip: and the boss was a mess too

what in the Mario sunshine hell was that? somehow it stays here and i cant stand it

ot: is the teleporting horse saddle in the this game

you would think that something like that would be in the game and not just a saddle ala Elden ring and witcher 3 but no Scamtendo hates QOl wbk
