Not really  I think 4 people here got through it fine. How did u find out it was locked under a main story quest? I wish i did when i was exploring. It's better for the story if u follow this quest proper.

i thought the challenge was to find the shrines in the dark of the storm. after finding 1 I was like that was messy but still fun then my sensor kept beeping so there's another one. 

 

the other one was only accessible with ascend.

and i had to follow a tricky path to find it. it already would've been a puzzle on it's own if I could see where i'm goin but when you can't see **** lol it's madness.

that's when it clicked in my mind, no way that's intended way to do it. I googled it and all I know is I had to progress the story and talk to "Tauro" at some point. the storm would still be raging but at least the visibility would've been a bit better instead of walking in pitch dark like I did

Also got the Master Sword from the Light Dragon yesterday after getting all the geoglyphs. I wish they showed the memories in the order regardless of which one you get, but I guess that's not in the spirit of the game.  Queen Sonia is THAT girl though.

I just finished the memories quest and was thinking this too. Gathering memories should have been a lot more linear because Ganondorf was suddenly in one gaining the tear from Sonia and I was like ??? when was he introduced into the story?!

The depths and the sky islands kind of bore me most of the time tbh. The story is definitely much more interesting than BOTW! But the dungeons are also still underwhelming. Not sure if this game is going in my top 5 of the series.

I was in one of the Lomei Labyrinths when they popped out so I climbed up the wall and started shooting bombs at them. I killed them, and felt all excited for two seconds. Then I got the nice little surprise that spawns after killing them. I teleported out so fast.

Finished the water temple, it was much better than the fire one and the boss was easy too but at least more fun.

Took me about 80 hours to learn that I can actually favorite my builds and they don't have to be in autobuild history if I want to use them  Maybe now I can finally use some machines for lynels if I finally manage to build something useful

I completely skipped the Korok Forest cuz my DUMBass could not figure it out

But honestly I think my experience was enhanced by not going there.

I've done 2 temples so far and a bit of stuff in the depths but I still feel so useless! Not finding any good weapons or fuse material even after beating some overworld bosses. Any tips? I have like 8 or 9 hearts but I'm still getting wrecked by every enemy. Also I keep running out of arrows and it's so annoying.

If u find yourself too squishy, do the Great Fairy quest & use them to upgrade your armor. Defense does exponentially more than Hearts.

as much as I love this game there's one thing I'm feeling once in a while that's never happened in my many playthroughs of BoTw and that's "indigestion".

maybe it's because I'm a completionist at heart but good god there's too much goin on, I'm always tapped out after only 2 hours of playtime. 

 

earlier today I did my first maze and the sight of relief i had when I jumped and realized there wasn't a 3rd tier of the maze in the depths. like chill. they scared me for a second.

It's in the depths beneath the Korok Forest. There's a location, I believe, in the top left of the area where you'll face a mini boss and then get the mask. I still haven't used it because I cba with the Koroks nn, at least not yet. Maybe I'll try to be more completionist before I progress much more of the main story.

It’s not exactly spoilery but it’s easy to figure out what’s happening after you get there and it would ruin the mystery

Break every wooden/metal crate because they usually contain 5-10 arrows.

Same, except I might have to add the loser with his falling signs  I do them whenever I see them, but I feel like I'm gonna naturally miss a few because he's everywhere.
