the way you're playing the game in all the wrong ways. reality check for you, this game is not for everyone and it's definitely not for you :fan:

don't force yourself. if it's not clicking, it's not clicking. a man with kinks though. me like it.

Rito -> Goron -> Zora -> Gerudo

thank you

The game definitely encourages you to start with Rito, just like BoTw was guiding you towards Zora

But after that it's really up in the air until the official guide is released next month.

I remember in BoTw most people did Gerudo last because it was the most isolated area and the overall difficulty ramped up in that area compared to the rest of Hyrule and yet the "official guide" tells you to do it in 2nd after Zora

(which looking back is really cunning from the team since the gerudo boss is f**ked without daruk's protection :lmao:)

The game definitely guides you to the order I posted on the last page, beyond Rito. First, if you talk to Purah, she tells you the areas in that order, and always suggests you go to the next one (like after doing Rito, she suggests Goron). Additionally, if you talk to anyone in a stable reading the news before you do any dungeons, they will talk about the Rito blizzard as the current news story. Once you clear that dungeon, they will switch to talking about the Gorons, and so on for next areas. So the game does push that order, but of course it doesn't really matter all that much what order you go in.

oh wow they really are more handholdy this time around compared to BoTw

i haven't progressed the story at all, so that's interesting that they took that approach

Why shield? I fuse them to weapons and then use them to knock off enemy armor.

I love that I went straight for Gerudo just to not fall into being guided by the game like BOTW. I’m thinking of doing another next that makes less sense too. I suffered through the desert and had to make food etc work in the heat because I only had the wig to protect me from heat.

I’d like to keep playing this way and force myself to rely on food and other mechanics. I will however be finding Hestu soon and getting to Hateno because I need upgrades and the sensor back :rip:

The game is meant for you to bask in and get lost in its world

Exploration and just plain curiosity and ingenuity can run up your play time into the hundreds of hours alone

That's the beauty of this game..

You can rush thru the story as fast as possible with low stamina and hearts

Or

You can take your time actually enjoying it and just appreciating the endless possibilities you can do in the game

Y'all need to go to Satori Mountain if you haven't already. :jonny:

Spoiler

If you offer an apple to the little statue Ms Icon shows up and reveals where the caves are on the map.

On another note I am absolutely SICK of that loser and his falling sign. That and the koroks that need to reunite with their friends are becoming instant skips for me.

Uhm I did a few things and I don’t think I was supposed to do them like somehow I’m almost at the end of storyline even though I only finished Rito and Goron? :deadbanana: Wow but I’m slayed

most reviewers who had finished the game said that "ascend" was by far their least used ability and yet it's the one I'm using the most since I started the game, surpassing "ultrahand" :dies:

although I've only been doing caves stuff lately so maybe that's why. I'm at 48 caves and 21 wells. i'm addicted to them because of the rare pieces of outfits i sometimes find

satori is actually not the only spot to unlock that  :jonny: i took out my scope so fast when It happened

I also love that "blupee" are actually useful in this game, if you chase after them they always lead you to a cave

I would've never found the Karariko cave if it wasn't for a blupee running into a tiny hole behind a waterfall. the hole is so tiny I had to crouch to get in.

I'm leaving that **** for last, I mean it's there for a bit of fun or for crazy completionist so I'll do it eventually but it's a time sink so I'm skipping too.

I'm only doing the friend korok ones if they're not too far from each other because I find a way to cheese them. I just shoot a "prime raw meat" next to the friend, stuck him to the meat and then use "recall" and bam! reunited :fan: i has to be prime meat though not normal meat because it's not heavy enough to carry the korok.

I'm gonna do gerudo first too when i'm done exploring because you can't tell me what to do :fan:

Finally had a long play session of this game since i finished it.

I'm treating that Duplication Glitch as a NG+ :dies: it's much more fun not being poor.

Upgraded a huge bulk of my armor

Explored the higher sky islands, & got the Zonaite armor set.

Built my house after selling cloned diamonds

Slayed my first Silver Lynel (idk how to regularly stun ha without Stasis :'()

Right?!?! I spent 3 hours & $12,000 just building it :deadbanana4:  (bought a lot of rooms that i didn't use)

It looks so basic, but if u try and make a more interesting looking one, the 15 piece limit, & walls makes it look so unaesthetic & asymmetric

This is my exact issue, It's very frustrating :rip: I wish they offered alternative room sizes too. Like why do I need a 2-tile long prayer room when the only relevant item in that room is the statue? I also wish they would let the smaller rooms (i.e., the study) count as .5 instead of a whole unit.

I finished the 2nd temple, and I have to agree that it got very laggy and it gave me a terrible headache :rip:, and it was so complicated too I was falling to the lava multiple times :deadbanana:At the end i decided to skip the rails using a rocket shield

Also the boss was really easy, i wish they could give the bosses at least more health

So far

Bosses and Temples: Rito>Goron

I think ill go to the Gerudo next since the next memories are there
