MTE. It took like 3 months with BOTW for me to reach 55 hours but this time only one week :deadbanana2: nnnn I know some people already spend like 200 hours but still.

55 hours yet I haven't started to explore sky island.... it's so crazy

So is there an "unofficial" order we could be following? I'm running around aimlessly but feel like I should actually start the story soon and need that order that the game itself isn't imposing on me :gaycat4:

got the game today as a gift, but i never played BotW so can I play it without playing BotW?

Yes, I’d say so. You might take a minute to get used to the various mechanics compared to everyone who already played BOTW, but it’s not that big of a deal. Just expect to die a bunch at first when you take big falls by accident :gaycat4:

I’ve just been exploring a **** ton and not even trying to do the story missions yet… and then happened upon the Rito main story quest anyways, so I went ahead and did it.

Someone please tell me… are any of the other sages useful? :rip: Tulin’s lil gust is barely helpful, and worse than that… why the **** is it mapped to A!? :deadbanana:

Imagine me sneaking up on fairies just now, pressing A to collect one, and instead Tulin’s ass pops out and sends a gust of wind out and scares them all off 😔

What are y‘all doing for 50 Hours? :deadbanana2:bf and i are 30 Hours Into it and about to beat the 4th dungeon. We havent touched a shrine in days because they are boring and have like an opal for loot :rip: waste of time

Don't you want to upgrade your stamina and hearts?

the way you're playing the game in all the wrong ways. reality check for you, this game is not for everyone and it's definitely not for you :fan:

don't force yourself. if it's not clicking, it's not clicking. a man with kinks though. me like it.

thank you

The game definitely encourages you to start with Rito, just like BoTw was guiding you towards Zora

But after that it's really up in the air until the official guide is released next month.

I remember in BoTw most people did Gerudo last because it was the most isolated area and the overall difficulty ramped up in that area compared to the rest of Hyrule and yet the "official guide" tells you to do it in 2nd after Zora

(which looking back is really cunning from the team since the gerudo boss is f**ked without daruk's protection :lmao:)

The game definitely guides you to the order I posted on the last page, beyond Rito. First, if you talk to Purah, she tells you the areas in that order, and always suggests you go to the next one (like after doing Rito, she suggests Goron). Additionally, if you talk to anyone in a stable reading the news before you do any dungeons, they will talk about the Rito blizzard as the current news story. Once you clear that dungeon, they will switch to talking about the Gorons, and so on for next areas. So the game does push that order, but of course it doesn't really matter all that much what order you go in.

oh wow they really are more handholdy this time around compared to BoTw

i haven't progressed the story at all, so that's interesting that they took that approach

Why shield? I fuse them to weapons and then use them to knock off enemy armor.

I love that I went straight for Gerudo just to not fall into being guided by the game like BOTW. I’m thinking of doing another next that makes less sense too. I suffered through the desert and had to make food etc work in the heat because I only had the wig to protect me from heat.

I’d like to keep playing this way and force myself to rely on food and other mechanics. I will however be finding Hestu soon and getting to Hateno because I need upgrades and the sensor back :rip:
