not me ascending with my head pointing  right in front of Cece's phat ass :ahh:

and apparently that's not even the way to spy on her, she kicked me right out

anyway this hateno quest is a kii

I loved the Hateno’s quest line! And the final reward is so perfect

Spoiler

Although I do wish we could just put the hood up and down ourselves afterwards, instead of having to go back and ask for it

I’ve been wondering why I can’t see more shrines. Looks like Im gonna have to find then vía the depths amd marking the Light roots to the main map 🫠

oh that's actually a clever way to do it, I've found 2 or 3 this way but never persisted with that technique. i just use the sensor.

Glitched my way to riches, lol.

Bought me some heat protected clothing and dived into my first chasm.

Looks like a long road ahead of me in this volcano.

Same :deadbanana2: getting to my 3rd temple now and already have over 10k rupees

Been doing the shield surf glitch with the wing shield and I'm yielding at least 20+ of the item I'm duplicating every time

I love this glitch and hopefully it doesn't get patched out

You best believe they will all be. They're sooooo broken and easy.

That's why I'm not using any of them, the temptation is strong because money is so hard to get by compared to BoTw but it's not even just money, it's really everything, it's way too broken. I want to play the game the way it's intended, i know it will take away some annoyance but it's not worth also taking away from the exploration/survival/difficulty aspects of the game and it really does.

My "Animal Crossing" journey taught me one thing, turn off the "auto-update software" on your switch if you want to keep this version of ToTk with those glitches.

Tbh I wish I could keep this version for my 2nd playthrough but not my first experience of the game.

Think I somehow skipped ahead on a certain story beat :rip:

Spoiler

I went into the thunderclouds above the Faron region just to see if I could find anything cool, somehow get past all the fog into a shrine, enter some door that required a certain amount of hearts, found a Zonai mask that is asked to be taken to the surface and then the depths, and turn it into a robot?! That whole section was so cool. The timing was perfect too because I just did the tear with the spirit sage. Once I built that robot though, I tried combat and died horrifically, so I'm not going back there for a while I think dhsiohdoshiodhsoid

The stuff in games like this & BOTW where you could be farther ahead than you think you are after just exploring for fun... part of what makes me just ADORE these games.

I hate how they didn't do any really interesting effects for the new armor, or add to the old ones that didn't have any effects.

U did :rip: and so did i.

Spoiler

Thankfully i saved that part for the end, but i was still sorta pissed when i found out, cuz theres a whole quest line i purposefully set aside (not knowing it was related to removing the thunderclouds). But it worked out well narratively in the end. Good thing u didn't go further tho, especially since some cut scenes u unlock there are "spoilery" :rip:

Combat in the robot in annoying, i suggest when u go back, u just find outside of it. It's not a requirement.

Not me wearing the damn Hylian Hood the whole game and not knowing this :deadbanana:

Spoiler

I think she offered the first time & i said no, thinking she was just gonna remove it for me?

I’m glad I did the dungeons in order because the 4th one STOMPED on the others :jonny5:

It’s the closest we’ll ever get to a traditional dungeon imo

  Reveal hidden contents

The revamped Gerudo desert, the destroyed town, the huge caves, the lead up to the dungeon,  the tower defense section, the atmospheric temple, the annoyingly hard but still fun boss, and queen Riju being THAT b****

YUP this section of the game is a series highlight :jonny5::jonny5::jonny5:

What’s the order? I’ve already done Zora and rito. Rito was infinitely better than the Zora one…and a much more useful sage too.

I must be at 100hrs rn omfg this game is just incredible :jonny5:

And all I've done so far has been exploration. I went Castle (floor level) -> Akkala (Tarrey Town) -> Korok Forest -> Castle (sky)-> omw to Kakariko now :bibliahh:

I don't think his 4th one is that special

Spoiler

Rito is definitely the most cinematic one, & probably my fave lead up.

Goron has the best Temple section itself imo, & probably the 2nd most useful sage.

Zora is def the most basic of the 4

I think Purah will officially direct u Rito < Goron < Zora < Gerudo

I didn't know this so i followed the "Memory order" and assumed Rito < Zora < Gerudo < Goron

I for one do not have that problem and honestly it just makes the experience playing the game for me that much more enjoyable

And especially with how hard they've made getting hearty foods and even damn apples, I don't mind this exploit and will make use of it as much as I can

I've already grinded enough in BOTW, I don't need to in TotK

Killed all the bosses in one try. I know thats not an achievemnt tho but still :gaycat4:.

Also I still only have 34 shrimes completed How are yall finding them so fast  l:deadbanana4:

One helpful tip for finding shrines

Spoiler

Match them with the roots in the depths. All the roots and surface shrines are all in the same place

It's hard to rank the regions cuz they all succeed @ different things.

For those of y'all that have done all 4 how would u rank their individual sections?

Spoiler

Quest: VolcanoBeast = Tear/Whirlpool = ProtectTown >>> FindTulin

Lead Up: Sky >>> Underground = ZeroG >>> LightsRiddle

Dungeon: Goron > Gerudo >>> Rito = Zora

Boss: Zora > Goron = GerudoRito

Shouldn’t the Volcano Beast be the lead up? Defeating it opens the path and puts you close to the temple entrance. The quest would be freeing Yunobo from the goofy mask :lakitu:

Spoiler

Phew I'm glad I wasn't the only one struggling to fight in that robot :bibliahh:I'll attach good **** to her ass and just fight on the ground once I decide to go back to the area, assumedly after the 4 regional phenomena, thank YOU!

Ranking the 4 dungeons :gaycat4:

Spoiler

Quest: Zora > Gerudo > Goron >> Rito

Lead up: Rito > Zora > Goron > Gerudo

Dungeon: Gerudo > Goron > Rito >>> Zora

Boss: Gerudo > Zora > Rito > Goron

Sage Ability: Tulin > Yunobo > Riju >>> Sidon

Overall: Gerudo > Goron > Rito > Zora

Gerudo having the hardest bosses in both BOTW and TOTK is kinda iconic :gaycat4:

got the game today as a gift, but i never played BotW so can I play it without playing BotW?

the new item dupe glitch being easier/more fruitful :deadbanana4: I have x99 diamonds, rubies, flower bombs, etc. and over 150K in the bank :gaycat7:

The controls for the

Spoiler

Sage abilities

is getting panned everywhere :fan: they should just move them to the down button to open a new radial menu. Whistling to call horses doesn’t need its own button anyway

Map doesn’t need a second button as well, and unsticking materials should have a more convenient trigger like pressing the R stick, not wiggling it :gaycat6:

Controls are the most poorly designed part of the game and I’m glad a lot of people have pointed this out. Idk if Nintendo ever patched controls in a a game before tho :gaycat6:

Yes. Even if you've never played a Zelda game. You'll just be in the tutorial area longer than others to get a hang of the controls and mechanics.
