I am obsessed with this game

feels like there is a lot of ways to solve shrines/puzzles and do things in whatever order you want which I love

still exploring, haven't really made a dent in anything story wise too much yet (about 15 - 20 hours in)

Bombs really made BoTw easy mode more than anything, it's wild how I never realized until I played this game.

Definitely makes it harder which sometimes can be a bit frustrating but it makes it more fun. I’m having to actually think more creatively about certain situations.

 

I think ToTk is the first game where I really use all of my items too. In most other games I just collect, collect, collect and that's it. And they usually sit there for the whole game ...

Here I manage to attach everything to everything All items have such a fun use. I actually don't miss the bombs in the end which were my drug in BoTw.

I prefer bombs in TotK cause fusing them with shields can help you reach high places  also bomb jumping on monster forces is so fun

The flexibility and RANGE in how you can do things. No like I was kinda worried because ultrahand looked like a copy of magnesis but that tool alone makes the game so much more fun and addictive

The TotK videos I always see on tiktok are either Link committing war crimes with his bomber planes or torturing Koroks in different ways (mostly crucifixion)

I hate fusing random weapons together and they look SO ugly in fused form

 

But I really love the mechanic for stuff like fusing magical rods with specific elements, fusing the flux construct drops on Zonai swords, basically all arrow fusions, etc. Like when the fusion is by design, it's great, but a lot of the pairings look horrible.

After about 50 hours I can safely say this is better than BOTW and GOTY  Some annoying gameplay choices here and there, but overall it’s near perfect experience and everything gets better as I play.

Even though i finished the game pretty thoroughly, i still have half of the underground map unexplored. Also finally watched a video of how to kill a Gleeok, can't believe i was having so much trouble with them  Never once did i think "yeah elemental arrows"

I know exactly which Dungeon ur talking about definitely one of the games highlights. One of my first spoiler post here was doing that whole lead up and thinking "Overworld dungeons?!?!" and then i realized  It was such an immaculately designed & cinematic platformer for a lead up. 

 

 

Does she?  The memory order implied Rito < Zora < Gerudo < Goron to me  @the70s looks like i ****** up there too u really should just explore what u want and create your own story. I feel like everybody having a different playthrough is the point of BOTW/TOTK.

I tried that on BOTW and almost quit cause I couldn’t do it lmao
