A few queens instantly clicked with me (Aura, La Diamond, Nehellenia), but the whole cast in general seems really interesting, even Gioffrè who gave nothing in the MTQ. Challenge was just ok. La Diamond clearly won but Skandalove not being in the top was a gag. Panthera lip syncing instead of either Aura or Obama was a mess, her look was the definition of safe. Can't wait to see more!

That one girl who wore the all white look with the headpiece was praise?? Oh well. slight improvement from s1.

Did they give these girls 30 minutes to create their looks? That’s what it looked like.

That being said, her look gave me Vanjie flashbacks Panthera Virus also had one of the best looks on the runway too I would say she had the better lipsync of the two though. Glad Gioffre didn't make the mask her entire gimmick. Her Medusa look wasn't that strongest but also not that bad. Well deserved win for Diamond I didn't think Narciso's look was that bad, but I understand why she left.

I got whiplash from all the cuts and slomos and stuff I thought Geoffre was for sure going to be first out. Can that even be considered drag? I could barely see the looks. Skandalove is one of my faves too. To think she quit drag and came back years after looking correct and showing that she still got it? Icon tingz, the other queens should be scared.

It's interesting to notice that Farida said she designed all of Nehellenia's outfits for the race.

They need to chill The cast pleasantly surprised me. They gave me NOTHING in the MTQs, more so than any cast ever, but I actually loved most of them this episode. I'm obsessed with Aura and Panthera - there's something so charming and interesting about them. The judging though... a disaster. Diamond winning was the only thing that made sense. Obama in the top over Noire, Tanissa, Skandalove, or even Panthera? I don't think. In what world was Panthera bottom 2 worthy? She should've been safe or potentially even in the top. Aura and Narciso were bad, but Gioffree was by far the worst too. The lipsync was ok. As a Panthera stan, I gotta say that Narciso turned it out more for me, but I'm glad Panthera stayed. Looking forward to this season cause the cast is giving, but I'm just praying the judging will not ruin it like it almost did this episode.

TrueBlood Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) ^ Good for them to add subtitles so everyone can enjoy it. Anyway, I finally watched the first episode. I have to say that there are quite a lot improvements over S1, mainly with a better cast overall and quite a better pacing of the episode (even though it remains too long). I like that this time it seems like they're more interested in doing things their own way (like most of the international franchises are) instead of trying to emulate too much the original. The editing is a mess and Priscilla is still the worst host ever, but things are looking better than S1 for sure. I'd say that none of the look really impressed me. La Diamond was a clear winner, but the praise she got was a bit overrated. I'd actually say that Skandalove had the most polished look out of everyone IMO. Glad that Narciso is out, she was boring AF. Aura seems like she's lovely but I'm afraid she'll probably be the next one going home. Obama is a true villain (for the international gurlz, she was a cast member on a Big Brother edition a few years ago and she was disqualified for being too aggressive, almost physically, towards another female cast member) and I love the way they're portraying her here, but she needs to step-up her fashion without relying too much on her statuary body. She was the best actress in the soap opera and also had a far better runway than Aura so I had no clue how she only safe. Aura's performance was great but her runway was so basic. Obama smoked Tanissa in the lipsync but she needs to elevate her drag quickly. She totally missed the assignment on the runway this week. That mini challenge was so much fun too

Mini challenge was very fun, I always enjoy when queens get to be messy. Panthera snatching Aura's ball while it was in the air was a kii. Loved loved loved the acting challenge, it was so funny. Nehellenia, Aura and La Diamond were by far the best. I thought this was gonna be a group win with Nehellenia's winning. Nehellenia's acting and accent cracked me the f*ck up though, she was my favorite. La Diamond carried the entire second group, she was very good but there were literally no lines other than the entrances for the other characters, it was so weird. Runways were overall an improvement over last week as well. Skandalove, Gioffrè and La Diamond had great looks, Aura and Obama had the worst unfortunately. Judging was once again a mess. All the top performers (except Aura) being safe and La Petite in the top? Tanissa in the bottom because she's quiet in the workroom? What the f*ck was that? At least Aura won though, it looks like they can only get the winner and half of the bottom 2 right. That lip sync was homophobic. The song was a bop and they served that? Double sashay and jail time for both of them. Extremely excited for Snatch Game next week!

I also noticed they love to cut to confessionals every 3 seconds of the queens just making crazy faces or saying like 2 words The results were fine. Not as messy as last week I guess. La Diamond could've been in the top, but I think Aura and Petit deserved! Love Aura, so I'm happy she won. Giofree should've been read harder for their performance and possibly btm2, but Obama and Tanissa made sense as well. Obama smoked Tanissa in the lipsync. Tanissa honestly gave me first out vibes and didn't deliver this week, so I'm not mad she left.
TrueBlood Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 The acting challenge was at times hilarious, it had a few references that may be impossible to get for an international public but it was very funny. I think they did a good job, but I would have loved if they showed (as they do on the US version) the rehearsals already in drag so that we could see more who was doing a good job or a poor one. Nehellenia was hilarious, I also really liked La Diamond's performance. Aura was another great one. Considering the fact they had to write the script themselves, they all did a good job to me. The judgment this time seemed a bit more fair than last time. In terms of runway, they definitely delivered a better one compared to last week's one, I think Nehellenia had my favourite outfit of all them and IMO should have been at least high. She's probably going to win the Snatch Game tho, 'cause she's playing an hilarious character (Elenoire Ferruzzi, not very original as a choice but with an extreme potential to be funny as hell). I'd say I preferred the first episode more 'cause it had a better pacing, this time it felt like there were empty moments that could have been easily cut. And finally a modern song to lipsync to, even though both queen could have done WAY more to that track. Obama rightfully won but her look was tragic, and the wig ruveal added even more tragedy. Next week's going to be a fun episode for sure, there's also finally some drama by the look of the preview.

Diamond made great sense as a winner, killed it on the runway and challenge Nelly had the best Snatch Game performance and Gioffre was hilarious as the penguin. Both should have been top 3. The most OTT lipsync yet. Obama's villainous attitude backfired on her though provided one of the best Untucked international moments yet. Obama's strategy going on the table was a good move (that Panthera quickly copied) but faltered once she got on the stage again. You could tell her last words were begrudgingly said in resentment.

Hephaestus Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 Not Italia serving the best non-English Snatch Game so far and one of the strongest ever period. I was gagged! Let me just start by saying Nehellenia was robbed once again. La Diamond was amazing but Nehellenia's impersonation was just on another level. I laughed out loud every time she said something. Loved La Diamond as well though, she was clearly the second best with Aura and Obama battling it out for the third place. Everyone except La Petite was in a scale from good to great to be honest, even Gioffrè's crazy ass character somehow worked. The judging was once again a mess, but I'm not surprised at this point. Worst aspect of this franchise, hands down. La Diamond wasn't the best on the runway nor the challenge (La Petite and Nehellenia were, respectively), so I don't understand why she won other than production interfering. Obama had no place being in the bottom, they were so shady for putting her in that position when La Petite was right there. They even did that bit where they told her she would be great at lip syncing but saved her. Rotted. Loved the Untucked drama (Obama was 100% right) and the messiness of the lip sync. The way they had the nerve to keep Panthera despite Obama being the one to come up with the idea to lip sync on the judges' table... Jail to all of them.
