Still not a fan of the new final tribal format, which reminds me too much of BBUS and their dull jury questions, but Sam and Rachel both did well. I thought it was going to be a close vote. Kyle's probably going to get some hate for ruining the unanimous vote, but Sam deserved second over Sue. I'm not sure who I'd rank higher between Dee and Rachel as my favorite new era winner. Sam's definitely my favorite new era runner up, tho.

Every season, I enjoy this show until we get to the final 4 and they do the stupid fire making challenge. It's been several years now but it's still hard to accept. I hate that this is a permanent part of the show now.

Love this season, all the players from the winners to Jury are all likeable, but still giving a good gameplay and tv entertainment. Thankfully Rome not making it to Jury, whew.

Screaming at that fire-making challenge. Can we officially label Teeny the most useless player in “Survivor” history now?

 

Anyway, congratulations to Rachel! They had me sweating bullets that Sam would pull it off with that strong tribal performance, but thankfully the jury didn’t lose its mind.

 

Now we just need to fix this 15-minute after show nonsense! They’ve completely ruined the iconic reunion format.

I'm surprised Teeny didn't make the F3, why tf did they show her so much only for her to go out in 4th JUSTICE FOR HEATHER

 

I didn't expect to see Sam and Rachel together in the F3, but that was the only surprise of the episode, everything else was predictable. Congrats Rachel

Great winner

 

- I was getting nervous with them giving Sam really good finale edit. But I understand, they needed to create the suspense.

- I HATE that they are forced to make fire at Top4 - And is it just me or was this crazy unfair? It seemed like Teeny couldn't do anything to win, as the wind simply blew the fire away from where she was positioned? Seemed crazy unfair

- But still, Teeny had such a bad edit  Like, nothing done right on her side all game

 

- Genevieve needs to be back for S50

Rachel such a great winner. I'm shocked she didn't actually show off her big move when she played her shot in the dark.
