Sensation Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Mens SF Medvedev v Alcaraz Djokovic v Musetti Womens SF Krejcikova v Rybakina Vekic v Paolini
pride4jc1222 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I have been saying this especially about the WTA, but I think both tours could benefit from a mid-season break following the French Open. Restart the season in mid-July, with the grass season running concurrently with the summer clay season, and have Wimbledon in early August. Then follow with the North American swing, and the US Open in October. Immediately follow with the WTA/ATP Finals. That would decrease the chance of burnout and injuries, which would help improve the quality of play during grass court/Wimbledon as well as the 2nd half of the season.

fridayteenage Posted July 12 Posted July 12 both 28, both in their 2nd major singles semi and now their 2nd major singles final but one won her first, and has tons of doubles majors
Slamless Posted July 12 Posted July 12 She probably already is a lock, but Babs winning tomorrow definitely cements her HOF induction
fridayteenage Posted July 13 Posted July 13 alcaraz/djokovic major final: 2023 wimbledon, alcaraz victory major semi: 2023 french, alcaraz loss thus far, we mostly seem to be skipping over the 90s born men and into the 00s era.

ATRL Moderator supaspaz Posted July 13 Author ATRL Moderator Posted July 13 Poor Paolini. That’s a rough loss, especially in her second consecutive unsuccessful GS final.
Sensation Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Intriguing men's final.... Novak going for 25, his first title of the year and after knee surgery. Carlos going for the RG/Wimbledon double, defending his title, staying unbeaten in slam finals.
fridayteenage Posted July 14 Posted July 14 apparently he could be the second open-era man to win his first 4 major singles finals after roger

geddymonster Posted July 14 Posted July 14 A woman screaming like an idiot on the easy put away on championship point.
pride4jc1222 Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Blowing that 40-0 lead while serving for the match shows why Alcaraz will never be as good as Nadal. Nadal would have most likely put that match away on the first chance. But he'll never lose 5 points in a row in that situation. 1
