Perfect finals, both men and women

I'm more of a Medvedev fan, but I won't mind if Sinner wins because it'd be nice to see another young guy win his first slam.  Plus, his level the last few months has been deserving of one.

Hope Sabalenka can win the women's final

Amazing results! I was dreading a Djokovic/Zverev final, I would actually be forced to root for Djokovic. :skull:

This game has been unreal... Not it all tied up now at 2-2 :jonny:

SINNER FOR THE WINNER

Praying for King Med

I will feel so bad for Med if he loses from two sets up again, but also it will be such an amazing run for Sinner. Don't know who to root for :skull:

That was a truly iconic final :jonnycat:

5 sets and not one tie-break seems unusual

The awful level of play by the women at the latter stages of the Australian Open further highlights the need for changes to be made to the post-US Open schedule. Having the WTA Finals in early November, and the break in November/December, really kills momentum. The WTA Finals need to follow the US Open in September, with the break in October, and fall events starting in early-to-mid November. Those fall events would be the perfect segue to the Australia/Oceania leg in January. I feel like a longer ramp up to the Australian Open would get player better conditioned for the slam.

Zverev also has very few points to defend. A semi-decent run in Indian Wells, Miami and co. could see him rise to #3 before the FO.
