Tsonga put up a good fight today. Enjoy retirement. :clap3:

Tsonga was one of the few players that could actually challenge and beat the "Big 4" when they were all in their prime. Really puts it into perspective when alleged top players of today like Zverev or Tsitsipas can't even overcome them when they're pushing 40 and on the verge of retiring.

Unless Pegula wins the title, Kontaveit will jump from #5 to #2 in the world with her first round loss. This tour is really insane. So even

it would've been interesting to see how long barty would have remained a top ranked player post-retirement if she wasn't removed from rankings

Fernandez-Anisimova will be the match to watch for tomorrow, I have a feeling that we're getting a Coco-Leylah/Amanda SF

Sloane’s one good tournament per year!

That game Nadal played to break in the 5th... My god

But very good match from Felix. Almost enough to beat a 36 year old Rafa. Really absurd what Novak and Rafa are still doing

Rune d. Tsitsipas 7-5 3-6 6-3 6-4

Did not think Rune was ready yet, but that was seriously impressive. Dont think Tsitsipas played that badly. Rune just outplayed him

Struggled with her thigh and her period after that. Annoying. That first set was really great.

Should be helpful for Iga to have gotten that test
