I think the biggest problem with Emma is between her ears. Her know-it-all attitude makes her extremely uncoachable. I hope that while she is recovering from injury, she takes a long look at the mirror and changes her attitude/evolves her game because if she doesn't, it will be more of the same when she returns on tour. Players have the film of Emma, and many have figured out her game.

I tip my cap to Marozsan. He played a heck of a match today.

Rafael Nadal has officially withdrawn from French Open. He will miss several months, including Wimbledon, and possibly the rest of the season. His plan is to be fully healthy for the 2024 season, which is expected to be his final year on the tour:

Oh no. Does this mean another major for the antivaxxer?

I peeped Novaxx running smack dab into Father Time yesterday vs Rune. I know I wasn't the only one who saw it

Not at Roland Garros. I think the winner is in this group: Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Jannik Sinner. They are all in better form than Djokovic.

However, Djokovic should be the favorite at Wimbledon.

I think we all knew this was coming, but still hurts so much. :weeps:

Now I just hope he can't heal properly and have a fitting last dance next year.

Hope Rafa can fully recover and go all out at next year's RG and Olympics. I think playing another full season could be a lot to expect but I think he can aim to be fit and healthy for the clay swing.

I think Rafa’s final season in 2024 will end up similar to Steffi’s final season in 1999. (Hard to believe next year will mark 25 years since Steffi won that final FO and retired following the Wimbledon final.) Rafa uses the fall swing to get his feet wet before getting a respectable result at the AO, and contends at the FO and Olympics, winning at least one of the events. He calls it a career in August, immediately following the Olympics.
